If we fired Mullen at the end of the season I bet we could get Petrino.

He'd wait for a better SEC job to call.

Is it just me or did that feel like Ole Miss and BYU from 2011?

I wish Mullins had a lifetime contract. We will never lose to a Mullins coached team again.

Probably not with that offense because Merlins puts you into such a deep sleep your house trained dog even wets the floor. Then, he retreats and hides in the bell tower and by the time you wake up you've forgotten what the hell just happened.

The end was when they hired him. MSU's best days were when they hired a proven head coach in Jackie Sherril. Asst. coaches do not mean successful head coaches. Until they go after a has been but can still do coach like Sherril, MSU will be MSU. They need to get a Mike Leach, Rick Nueheisel, Phil Fulmer, etc..

Sly did that and they still fired him, did he/they not?

But but they are still playing with Sly's recruits. Sly wrecked the program for 10yrs.

Play calling was lazy . Someone ran the same 5 plays over and over. Mullen might be the very best MSU can do.

I blame Croom for that
