No one pays attention to Texas fans on this board, except all the aggies that respond to them in every thread because they are "so over them".

I actually petitioned to have it reverted back to the original when I was in school, but keep the ending. I despise the fact that our whole f'cking song revolves around those pieces of sh't.

I always thought it was funny that the whole song was talkin' crap about Texas. However I understand your point. What was it like when 'Bama came to town last year, the Aggies hit the field, everyone is pumped, A&M has the Tide in their sights, everyone is focused on this game.......... starts singing about Texas.

Yes, they are.

Nobody in the SEC thinks of Auburn as little brother to Bama except maybe Bama fans. Auburn has won a national championship recently and is in the mix for SEC championship most years. Unlike Texas A&M, who has not a won a national championship in over 75 years and were getting their arse handed to them so badly they put their tails between their legs and ran away from Texas to the SEC.

Big difference.

Yep, because they were getting their arse kicked by Oklahoma and Texas every year on the field and in recruiting. They ran away scared in order to gain advantage b/c little brother could never do it going head to head with Texas and OU.

Yep

They love beating their chests about the SEC. Just their presence in the SEC is a victory for them. They feel better about themselves just being a member of the SEC West.

I get it. Being in the Big 12 used to suck, and now it is even worse. It is a horrible conference for a lot of reasons. I know most of it is our fault. As a fan, with no real control, I'd feel great if Texas got out of the Big 12 and landed anywhere.

It's really just recruiting. Being the only team in Texas to play in the SEC helps land more kids than we probably would have otherwise.

Oh, and I made this for you, [link=(lucky little)]https://instagram.com/p/vDILbTSNSu/[/link] bama brothers.

If anyone is little bro, it's Missouri. Complete domination by Nebraska in football and Kansas in basketball.

This.

Aggie hasn't morphed into the permanently Bitter Lil' Bro that Aubie has.

I'd have to agree whole heartedly. A little brother program defines their season on beating big brother, Ags took the cake in a landslide.

LSU defined their 2012 and 2013 seasons with wins over A&M. And that's a fact. The only thing LSU has accomplished since using voodoo to make Bama miss 5 field goals, is beating Manziel. And the worst part is how proud you are of it. A&M was a Big 12 team, and the only thing LSU has to be proud of is keeping Manziel from lifting a crystal football in 2012. It's so sad.

Are all Aggies this delusional? A perennial football powers fans talking shite to the historically, under-achieving, programs fans. who have done nothing but try and force a rivalry=/= defining their season. Are you guys in college station truly this unaware or are you intentionally obtuse?

Last I checked our fight song has nothing to do with an opponent.

What's even funnier is Bama fans can't even sing their fight song. Probably for good reason. Most don't even know the words to it and it's embarrassing. They're still Georgia's and Georgia Tech's little brother. They knew better than sing about Auburn because at the time Auburn owned them.

"Let the Sewanee Tiger scratch; Let the Yellow Jacket sting;
Let the Georgia Bulldog bite; Alabama still is right;
And whether win or lose we smile, for that's Bama's fighting style..."

Yes, get your arse beat and smile about it. You bend over to and take it in the rear and smile too?

If that doesn't inspire fear in opponents. Just so manly man man of them. They later changed that but still sing about Georgia and Tech.

vs.

War Eagle, fly down the field,
Ever to conquer, never to yield.
War Eagle, fearless and true.
Fight on you orange and blue.
Go! Go! Go!
On to vict'ry, strike up the band.
Give 'em hell, give 'em hell,
Stand up and yell, hey!
War Eagle, win for Auburn,
Power of Dixieland!

We DO NOT sing about other teams at Auburn. We are not defined by other teams.

We are not called the Auburn Tigers because of ANYTHING having to do with Alabama. HOWEVER, little brother, you're named the Crimson Tide because of Auburn. You tied us in 1907 after we had been tanning your backsides and you were so thrilled about just tying us that you were called the Crimson Tide for the first time. It's ok, little brother. The truth hurts.
