Is Texas A&M the biggest "little brother" of them all?

The Aggie War Hymn

quote:

Hullabaloo, Caneck, Caneck
Hullabaloo, Caneck, Caneck
Good bye to Texas University
So long to the orange and the white

quote:

So goodbye to Texas University
We're gonna beat you all to Chigaroogarem
Chigaroogarem
Rough, Tough, real stuff Texas A&M
So Good bye to texas university
So long to the orange and the white

quote:

Saw varsity's horns off
Saw varsity's horns off
Saw varsity's horns off

quote:

Wilson combined several Aggie yells then in use at the time into a song called "Good-bye to Texas University."

quote:

The second verse opens with "Goodbye to texas university"; these words were chosen since Aggies refer to their principal athletic rival, the University of Texas, as "texas university", or "t.u.". Also, in practice, the phrase "sounds like hell" is inserted after the line "that is the song they sing so well"; however, the phrase is not officially part of the song.

quote:

After the second verse is sung twice, Aggie fans link their arms and legs, and sway left and right to replicate the motion of a saw blade; this is called "sawing Varsity's horns off" (before the Texas football team adopting the Longhorn as the official mascot, the team was simply known as "Varsity").

Seems a tad obsessive.

They say everything is bigger in Texas, including the "little brother" complex.

Without a doubt, Texas A&M has the largest, collective case of the little brother complex in the world of sports.

How are we defining "biggest little brother"

Michigan State is pretty eternal-furious with Michigan. But lately they are destroying them. Probably something we would have seen if A&M had continued playing Texas. But... 'dem refs. who knows.

Oklahoma St//Oklahoma also.

I don't know the criteria. Explain it to me.

Texas says "and it's goodbye to a&m" in their fight song. Ags thinks that there's no difference between the two.

I'd have to agree whole heartedly. A little brother program defines their season on beating big brother, Ags took the cake in a landslide.

I actually petitioned to have it reverted back to the original when I was in school, but keep the ending. I despise the fact that our whole f'cking song revolves around those pieces of sh't.

Look at the UAB thread. AU fans weren't getting to play the victim enough, so they have adopted UAB as a new cause.
