Saban is more of a Bama man than Cam was an Auburn man. Of course, that's not saying very much...

Saban could very well retire as Alabama's coach.

There was 0.0000 % chance of Cam ever staying longer than one semester at Auburn.

You do the math.

The length of time a player stays at a school doesn't necessarily determine how much of an "Alabama/Auburn man" he is.

What I was laughing at, though, is the penchant for some people to always bring up Cam Newton. I don't think I've ever seen a college football player subjected to such hate simply for being good at what he does.

You're right. That's what it is. It's only because he's good. Nothing else.

insecure? nope. perhaps a bit gullible for continually being lumped into these "he doesn't love you" threads by jilted LSU fans and other fans who wish he was there coach? yep.

let me ask you this: does the guy hooking up with kate upton care if she "loves him" or is he more likely just enjoying the ride? the analogy is applicable here, though in the football sense, Saban is, at this point, married to Bama.

Has any concept ever been more devoid of content than the phrase "Bama man"? I'm trying to figure out what it means.

Does it mean plaid pants?

Turtlenecks with plaid pants?

Applying to law school at Cumberland just in case?

Drinking cheap whiskey but expensive vodka?

I mean, really, what does it mean?

It means having an emotional connection to the University of Alabama that runs deeper than just a job.

Pretty sure everyone else could figure that out. Are you fricking retarded?

Now that us funny. Not a single person on this board has ever spoken to the man.

You'd be surprised at some of the people who post here. But I still think you're right for 99.9% of the people here. (I'm assuming that shaking his hand at fan day while he signs your dehydrated infant doesn't count as having spoken to him.)
