Richt has a much easier recruiting base.
Are you serious? UGA has a much better recruiting base? Like Auburn has a damn crutch or something...

You wanna look up "The best program of all time's" record during Tubs tenure?... East/West was much closer when Tubs was coaching at AU.

has had every chance to win a title but couldn't.

Really? So why did we kick off Josh Harvey Clemons from our team before last year?Easily the best member of our secondary and potential all SEC candidate before he his dismissal.
Well, considering we had 4 players suspended for the first 4 games of 2012(including 2 1st round draft picks)...maybe you did.
If you dont think our weed testing rules aren't hurting us you're clueless.

The biggest difference is AU would have "retired" Richt a lot sooner. I do not think Richt could have handled the pressure from the AU fan base. UGA fans have accepted the level of Richt's success.

Richt never had a 5 win season with the 111th ranked offense, which means UGA fans have never had to accept such a thing.

More than likely but lets not forget the administrations at both schools are a bit different.

Most wanted him gone after 03. We don't accept mediocrity

So you wanting Gus fired? 8-5 is pretty mediocre.

He also just went to the national championship game in one year, something richt couldn't accomplish in what, 15? And has shown that he can win big time (he was our HC according to everyone in '10 and chiz was just a puppet). Not to mention he's not content with mediocrity and went out and got one of the best D coordinators in the game.

I liked Muschamp as your D coordinator the first time around.
He saved his worst games for UGA.
[cheers]

But what matters is that you didn't fire him, which means you accepted mediocrity.

Yeah because 2004 was just awful. If he lost 4-5 games again in 04 he woulda been gone.

AU showed zero progress from 2000-2003, and your fans accepted it. 2004 is completely irrelevant in regards to that fact.

No one accepted shite. There's a reason tubs was all but gone until he beat bama. Then was given one more year to prove himself and had us as a top program from 04-07 then 08 happened and we canned him. You're dumb if you think we would ever be satisfied with 15 years of richt like performance. Especially how bad he has been vs y'all's biggest rival.

So Gus is luckier than Richt.

Well seeing as Richt has never refused to shake the coach's hand and walked around smoking a cigar in another team's stadium, Richt is already better. Tunns's the only coach I'll ever hate more than Saban. Walking piece of shite.

You are an idiot. He has lost to our biggest rival only twice. He has absolutely owned Auburn. He has a winning record against Every SEC East team except Florida.
He's turned it around against Florida for the most part. We've demolished Ga Tech and Auburn in our wins. Played UF close in our losses.
Also, Auburn had a 50+ year drought on a national championship, so I'm sure we will fire Richt before we hit that number if he doesn't win one by then. Richt has great coordinators under him now. Keep in mind, Richt has never had a top 2 recruiting class in the SEC. You all act like he's #1 every year or ever.
