With few exceptions, such a mid-season move would be asinine.
I have little doubt the Vols will have a different coach next year, but I'd be surprised if any change transpires publicly before December.
I'd say there's a good chance he's gone by November.

He'd have to run the tables and make the SECCG to deserve an extension. Will yalls AD give him what he doesn't deserve, I don't know.
Why not fire him and let an interim guy save the locker room? Y'all already have people leaving/decommiting, UT needs to keep the locker room and find a great coach.
