The last time Aranda faced Kiffin:

Alabama's offense put up 35 points and over 500 yards with a first year starting QB. Alabama had 238 yards rushing and 264 yards passing. Two running backs averaged over 7 ypc.

Aranda's defense still ended the year in the top ten for total defense, so why did his defense give up against Alabama?

Alabama is Coach O's Kryptonite. Guy just can't beat Bama.

And he was facing Wisconsin talent. They were built for the Big 10, which means they were big and slow. When they played other Big 10 schools, they padded their stats. That is why stats in college football are a waste of time.

No. Kiffin is gonna throw the game so his best good buddy coach O can be named HC and Kiffin can come over to be our OC. He doesn't like getting yelled at by little people.

Don't you read message boards?

Small sample size, and that sample didn't include equal talent.

Wisconsin =/= LSU

Kiffin will fight like hell to win the game, but if they do lose...you know he won't be able to help but smirk a little bit for his good buddy O

Louisiana Monroe held Coker to less passing yards on more attempts. Is ULM > Wisconsin?

Are these #s abnormally impressive anymore?? I'm a defensive game fan, but 35 points 500+ yds happens weekly. Multiple times. No biggie.

Most defensives have to depend on their offense to score now not the reverse like it was for so long.

Wisconsin beat LSU this year and LSU has Aranda. LSU talent level is vastly overrated on this site. They have talent at a few spots, but their overall team is nothing to brag about.

As all the old coaches like to say "it ain't so much about the Xs and Os but more about the Jimmys and Joes."

When it all comes down to it, Bama will have more Jimmys and Joes, and LSU will be left to cry with old coach O.

lol you're an idiot
the talent level at LSU is off the charts year in and year out
the coaching has NEVER been at the same caliber as the athlete

that may have changed now

This is dumb. All the coaches on the staff have been on the staff. This isn't some new regime.

LSU has had a quality coaching staff for over 15 years now.

LSU problem has been with recruiting. They went away from what made them successful. They bought into this mantra of "DBU" when they used to be D-line U.

This is the SEC, great DB play is not nearly as important as having impact players up front. LSU has 1 impact pass rusher and just a bunch guys out there taking up space. They have not had any impact interior D-line since Michael Brockers and Bennie Logan.

They have a bunch of tweeners who do nothing well and will be mauled on Saturday.

if you didn't know Wisconsin doesn't have the talent LSU has and they finished in the top 10 because they don't play in the SEC

Why did Wisconsin beat LSU. LSU hired away their best coach?

LSU's talent advantage over Wisconsin is at the skill positions. Wisconsin made it a line of scrimmage game and LSU doesn't have near the talent their fans believe they do at those spots.
