Is Kentucky keeping Cal because of money or are they unable to find a suitable replacement

It is hard to believe they would put up with what has been happening down there.

It's hard to believe that you don't slurp schlong suckeye. Matter of fact, it's impossible.

I just hope they don’t fire him & hire Will Wade.

That would be dangerous hire for everyone else

I don’t think there is an obvious choice to replace him with. And yes, it’s cheaper to keep her.

I have a couple of buddies in Kentucky, who think UK BB is NOT fine.

Kentucky is the SEC standard bearer of BB
BAMA in football
LSU in baseball.

I miss the evil empire of Kentucky. Lexington was a black hole for LSU. It was my favorite game each year.

It cannot be fine. 1 postseason win since 2019(?) is unheard of down there.

The top 2 seem shakey at the moment.

That is the way older fans spoke of Indiana. I missed all of that.

Its not money. That is there. There just isn't a home run hire out there thats worth running Cal off for. I still want his arse fired anyway.

Wade is a far better coach than he is a recruiter. Kentucky is one place I could see him recruiting good enough players to hide his deficiencies as an in-game coach, but they would still appear from time to time. Still, I think Wade would do amazing things at UK.

Kentucky fans are dumb as frick for wanting to get rid of the best coach to ever coach in their schools history. Why? Because you are not dominating the SEC the way you are used to? Guess what dumbasses, the rest of the SEC is pouring money into their bball programs and are stealing those 1 and done recruits UK has been used to getting. Get used to it. The SEC is now becoming a balance league and not just top heavy.

But by all means, fire him. Cant wait to see the fall out

Smh…universities that have never dominated a sport over multiple decades will never understand.

Maybe sit this one out until you’re the unquestioned premier program in your conference over 15-20 years in a revenue generating sport.

We had the number 1 recruiting class followed by the number two class coming in.So tell me again how our recruiting has been affected?

The best coach in our history? We have had Rupp(4), Hall(1), Pitino(1) and Tubby Smith (1) win championships.

The last four years have been our worst in since Rupp was hired. Great recruiting, but poor coaching.

People act like the SEC hasn’t been good before. I remember UK going to the final four along with Mississippi State in 1996. Being there with Florida in 2014. Some great Arkansas teams in the 90’s and Florida winning back to back. LSU had these guys named Petit, Maravich and Shaq.

Mississippi Stste had this Coach named Babe McCarthy.

Look we didn’t win every year back then either. But we didnt crap the bed like now.
