Because college basketball teams and coaches are judged on what they do in the NCAA tournament. Conference titles don't mean a damn thing unless you need to win your conference tournament to get an automatic bid.

Guess what dumbasses, the rest of the SEC is pouring money into their bball programs and are stealing those 1 and done recruits UK has been used to getting. Get used to it. The SEC is now becoming a balance league and not just top heavy.
