On Dave or Les/Cam?

Don't forget Gus never reached the end zone.

How can Auburn's offense put up that many yards on LSU's offense? I thought what he was trying to say was pretty obvious....

Top 3 coach. Bottom 3 recruiter. Thus giving him a mean of 6-7.

Oh God, Aranda > Chavis by a long shot. Best thing that happened to LSU is getting rid Miles and hiring Aranda. Chavis has shown at texas am that without the talent he had at tennessee and lsu, he isn't worth a frick as a dc. He's an average dc unless he has players like he had at lsu. That's just a fact. He plays those smaller linebackers as well which I don't like. 3rd and chavis is real.

Is Ed Ogeron a top 10 SEC HC?

No clue. He hasn't had a full season to coach at LSU in this second SEC run

We know he's good enough to wax A&M though.

I consider him in the top 5.The game hasn't changed that much in the last 5 years. There are still too many weak spots in talent on the Aggie D side. Until that's upgraded I think they will struggle. TBH, I just don't see Sumlin lasting much longer.

He is getting a little older but you are a fool to deny he is/was a top DC. Between LSU and UT he fielded some of the greatest units to ever hit the field.

Yah I agree, the only problem is that he hasn't had the players he was blessed with at lsu and tenner...a&m just doesnt have the talent on defense that he had at his prior 2 stops as a coach, hence the bad defense. I was never fond of chavis at lsu even, he capitalized on his talent to bail him out instead of out coaching. He was good at lsu but bis true colors are showing at texas am. If he doesn't have studs all over the field, his defense doesn't work. Texas am has been susceptible to the run his whole time there. It's a flaw in his defense...he recruits small lbs and his dline is really not physical at the point of attack.

For some reason? Haha, the reason is he doesn't have the studs on the field that he had at lsu. Even miles garrett got pushed around against physical teams. I'm very satisfied with aranda. In one year he has made lsu what they should be every year on defense. Chavis isn't in the same category as aranda...honestly, there aren't but a couple that are on his level. LSU is going to be really good on defense as long as aranda is our dc. Chavis sucks.
