So to those who love him and to the impartial, he's an exciting player.

Otherwise not so much.

Gotcha.

I guess reading comprehension is, too.

You know what is underrated? Knowing what matters in football. Part of what makes him "exciting" is how little he is coached/corralled by his coaching staff. Sumlin doesn't even get mad when he throws multiple INT's. He would be GOAT if he wasn't so careless with the football and you guys would win a few more games.

your forgot Honey badger..He was exciting

I didn't want to seem like a homer

He is one of the most exciting I've ever seen. That's hard to accomplish as a defensive player

I'm interchanging the terminology. Even using EXCITING I still couldn't pick one objectively. He's the most recent and has a lot of real estate in my mind right now.

I just think it's evident that "most exciting" =/= "best."

Sumlin also isn't mad when JFF acts like a whiny 12 yr old bitch. No control.

Good grief there are some uptight folks around here.

He's pretty damn exciting to watch.
I think most would admit that.

I was hoping his poor decisions in the red zone would make him stay another year for seasoning.

How does a benign question about the most exciting players in CFB history indicate a lack of knowledge about what's important in CFB??

Why is this question so upsetting?

JFF's game isn't really capable of fitting a system. If you try to wrangle him in, you take from why he helps you win. Is that not apparent?

That's probably because in the three games he's thrown for more than one INT, he's also thrown for 1,364 yards and 14 TDs.

He's had to take more risks because of his atrocious D. Again, how is that not apparent?

I'm not "cool w that;" but I wouldn't trade him from my team, based on it.
That wasn't the question.

Yes, because 7 of those INTs were accompanied by 1,364 yards and 14 TDs.

5 of his INTs have come from balls that hit WRs in the hands first.

JFF isn't the reason this team has two losses. He's the reason we don't have 4.

At this point in his career he shouldn't be taking risks? What is so bad about asking a guy to be smart with the football?

Hell Cody Hodges didn't throw 11 picks a season and he wasn't mobile. Same system (air raid).

They said something really true yesterday...

He HAS to be JFF because of our sucktastic defense. And for that, I think he presses too much.

Inherent in JFF's greatness is his propensity to take risks. They're necessarily intertwined. You can't have his production without the occasional bone-headed play. It's just who he is.

It's more apparent this year because he has no defense. He has no choice but to go for it each drive.

So your Defense is so bad he throws it to the other team three times to help your defense? When you get to double digits picks with any QB in any system you should start discussing his backup not how dynamic he is much less what awards he should win.
