My friend had our tickets to the 2009 game, well we got separated pre game and he proceeded to pass out drunk with a dead phone. I ended up watching the entire game solo inside the houndstooth and had a great time. Bama fans bought me shots and drinks all night.

You're an idiot. Nothing will happen unless you provoke it. I've been to roughly 165 Bama games and I've only seen two fights. One was between two LSU fans in Baton Rouge right after the 2008 game. The other was between some UGA and Bama fans in 2007 when some UGA fans were tearing up some tents on the Quad.

Bama fans are obnoxious but not typically dangerous to outsiders. They will destroy your stuff and kill their own family and friends, but I honestly don't think you'll have a problem.

This! I went in 2007 with my brother and we founds seperate tickets that day. he sat way up top. I sat in the endzone, about 20 rows up from where Bowe scored on that long pass from Flynn. Being one of the only LSU fans in that area, I had a blast. Cheer for your team but don't be an arse and don't get butthurt when they cheer and taunt you. LIke thatdude said, man the f up...its a great experience!

OP, are you serious? Good grief.
College football games are some of the most enjoyable environments in all sports. They are one of the few events a kid can actually still go to, unlike the NFL. Not to mention actual dangerous environments like overseas soccer matches.

I've been to BDS by myself, granted my friends were somewhere there too, no one fricked with me because I wasn't a douche
I was in the Alabama section. They were all pretty nice and made me feel normal. Then again I was drunk and having fun
