Maybe we have different definitions of "uncommon"...
This would be extremely uncommon if unprovoked
Just don't be a jerk and there will be nothin to worry about. BDS just like any other stadium will be filled with police officers if you start to really get worried/threatened

It is safe for you. I have seats in the upper deck and there are always visitors sitting by themselves. Most of the time the surrounding crowd is quite cordial. Unless you start being an obnoxious a-hole, they will usually offer to buy you a drink, or share their peanuts with you. No one is going to beat you up or rape you, unless you want them to.

Would that still be rape?

They are harmless to your face. Just don't pass out around them or they will molest you.

I just like the few among the many feeling. I don't even care where I sit. Hell, I sat by myself in the Auburn student section in 2009 for the Iron Bowl. The worst thing that happened was the girl on my left talked a little shite after Auburn jumped out to an early lead.

Bama is a pretty good time. Everyone there is pretty cordial and they always make sure my belly is full on gameday.
And you should be fine in the stadium. It's Bryant-Denny, not Ben Hill Griffin.

I have a buddy who has a buddy who plays for OM (walk on) and he offered me a ticket to the LSU/OM game this year. It's on the OM side and I think with parents of players?
No thanks

Even at LSU a fan isn't likely to get physically assaulted for wearing another team's colors. You might be in for some commentary at the more aggressive stadiums but generally speaking as long as you keep your own trash talk to zero, don't respond to anyone who says anything mean to you, and try to be polite, then you should be ok at any sec football game.

Won't have to worry about that. Bama going to maul LSU.

Can't attest to his story. But after 9-6, our group (professionals with wives, not rowdy) were walking to our car when a guy sitting on a parked bus threw an unopened can of beer from the window and hit a friend of mine in the head. His mistake was that he was by himself and the door to the bus wasn't locked.
But no harm came to him as a passing cop happened to see it happen too. He intervened and saved the jackass from a beating and instead took him to jail.
edited for spelling mistake

If Alabama loses you will be abducted, kidnapped, thrown in a pick up truck (RMFTR) raped, sodomized, beaten sadistically about the face and neck, made to have sex with a small farm animal, dressed in a skirt, handed a wig, renamed Clotile, married off to some kinsfolk, shackled to the walls of a single wide and neck-branded with the holy symbol of Bear Bryant circle jerking with Nick Saban, Major Ogilvie and Joe Namath. In short, you will be force-made a Gump.
