That's funny. I was in attendance at the Sugar Bowl this year...not great seats, but I'm kinda glad they weren't closer to the field because Arky was stinking that place up.

I left early because the embarrassment was just too much. I take pride in the SEC and it was apparent to me, seeing that game in person, that Arky does not.

Really? I was there to, and it was apparent to ME that Arkansas took GREAT pride in the SEC when they fought back after being down big to almost win that game. ANY team can get down big on occasion. It happens, but it takes PRIDE to suck it up , make some adjustments and keep on playing. Say what you want , Petrino responded well to that situation. Get back to me about ANY team that hasn't got their butt's handed to them at some point.

PS - If that's all you have to hang your hats on in claiming that Arkansas won't a national title, then how do you explain Alabama winning one the year after they were embarrassed by Utah in the Sugar Bowl? Oh that's right. A loss in one season =/= no chance of winning a title in another season.

This is the point. You cannot earn your way there. The only way LSU can get there is with help from other teams. LSU is not good enough to go undefeated. Yet you have an inflated ego like your the best team ever.

We're a better program and have a better coach than Arky

1998,2003,2006. In all three seasons slightly better coaching would have taken advantage of situations which would have let Arkansas play in the title game.

I realize that you will never admit this is so, so won't bother addressing you further.

We can all think of a few seasons where we were a couple of plays away from going undefeated - sorry, I just don't see Arky as unique in this regard.

That's not the issue...it's the self-aggrandizing arrogance that a large amount of Arky fans display when, to this date, they have accomplished little since joining in 1992. I hold nothing against Arky, I rooted and screamed for 'em in the dome.

Furthermore, Petrino/Arky =/= Saban/Bama. Don't make THAT mistake

If Arky were even near Bamas level this would be a relevant point.

And serious question, not a flame. Who is to blame for Arky's loss in the sugar bowl if its not petrino?

Better historically? Well of course you are. Better coach? Honestly at this point I would say yes, as I have always said at this point you have to put Saban at the top; but the difference is slim, and surely you aren't trying to claim that Petrino isn't a good enough coach to get his team past a Sugar Bowl loss to a perennial top10 program?

I'll give you 1998 but we curbstomped you in 2003 and in 2006 you were good but not great.

Liar. They have Bobby MF Petrino. He is the best coach in America. Just ask Pig fans.

Sorry bro, that year LSU did earn its way there. The rest of the nation agrees to it. It really makes me question your lucidity when you claim otherwise.

On a side not, what's your team affiliation here?

WOW, JUST frickING WOW.

You need serious psychological help if you think the difference between Nick Saban and Petrino is just "slim"

I think LSU will lose a couple games this year, very tough schedule. Being realistic, I think they lose 2 out of Oregon, Alabama, Florida, and Arkansas.
