So you allow the actions of one represent the entire fan base?
Better to just ignore the extremes then? That makes complete sense. Harvey, murderer, sexual offender, and crazy mom don't count.

So because a few Auburn frat boys dressed in black face, it means Auburn University is racist. Fair?
If that's the best you have, have at it. Nothing like having to resort to something that happened over a decade ago.

Want to talk about the racism in Alabama's sororities? Or how they were segregated all the way to the fall of 2013?

Yes. I lived in Alabama for 3 years. You Gumps are insane.

I live in a commuter section of Bham. There are a lot of professionals transferring in and out every year. Almost to a man, they prefer Auburn to Bama. The difference is truly the fan base.

Since there is such a huge difference, how do you guys defend these?

The same can be done for Alabama. So what is the difference?

I thought that was the final straw that drew him to action, but the reason he struck the trees in particular was because of something he heard of that had happened 30 years prior.

As a Bama alum, I don't see much difference between the alums of the two schools. The difference lies non-alums, which Bama has a lot more of so there's a larger pool to pull bad examples from. So I do think the perception that Bama fans are worse is fair.

Some of those people are not wearing Auburn gear. Anybody can walk up and get their picture taken with a trophy.

At least Auburn and State are man enough to stay in the conference.

At least our fans are proud enough of who they are to not root for every front running program in the country like some people.

So from all the comments, the difference is that Alabama is simply a national brand which seems to attract fans from outside their base while auburn is only able to retain fans who attended the school?
