Yep - Looks like LF7 is falling out of the 1st round
There is no doubt that Fournette is a special player. He is a powerful downhill runner who can run over tacklers but also has a burst to break off long runs and run away from them. Fournette also has moves in the open field with elusiveness to avoid tacklers. He is a natural athlete and showed impressive receiving skills as a sophomore. Fournette is a threat to score every time he touches the ball. He looks like a future franchise player and Pro Bowl running back if he can stay healthy. His play thus far has made him worthy of those Adrian Peterson comparisons.

If he drops, that means Browns could get Miles Garrett and LF7. Dang.

Don't be surprised if the Saints take him at #11!

Being pegged as a 2 down back and being dumb as a barrel of shite is not going to help matters either.
Anything to back that up? I'm going to assume not since NOTHING has been posted.
I did see this yesterday:
quote:
10-of-16 NFL executives polled by the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel ranked LSU RB Leonard Fournette as this year's top running back.
The Journal-Sentinel uses a "points" system to rank draft-eligible backs based on poll results from the executives' rankings. Fournette was the clear-cut No. 1 with 10-of-16 first-place votes and 73 total "points." Dalvin Cook came in second with four first-place votes and 61 points. Christian McCaffrey was third with one first-place vote and 47 points. Joe Mixon garnered the final first-place vote, finishing fourth. Alvin Kamara (fifth), D'Onta Foreman (sixth), Kareem Hunt (seventh), and Samaje Perine (eighth) rounded out the top eight.

What's tRant say? Does he go in the first or not?

I'll say he actually does fall out and goes early second
You also said the Missouri Tigers would beat the LSU Tigers "soon" last year. And we all saw how that stupid prediction worked out for you.

What does Missouri have against Leonard? It was Guice that ran all over your bitch asses
Even more embarrassing for them. Etling lit their asses up in that game too.

Yep....the top 10 picks could be very different from what the "experts" are projecting
Posted on 4/21/17 at 10:56 pm to Rohan Gravy
The difference is, Leonard Fournette is a very good man.
I'll repeat....LF7 is a very good man....
Slow your roll. Fournette has shown his arse plenty.

He should and not because he is not an elite talent. I don't know why anyone takes a RB in the first round any more. They're not worth the value in this days NFL.

I guarantee he goes in the top 10

Speaking of Trent. I watched the 2011 Florida highlights on the Bama board. How in the hell do you just lose vision like he did. He used to read blocks and find holes great. Of all the RB Bama has put in the NFL, he would have been the one I said would have had the best career.

Lol! Fournette won't fall out of the top 10. I do think he will have a shorter career, and by shorter, I mean about 8 years

You must be recruiting coordinator for mizzou right? You dipshit
Posted on 4/22/17 at 2:53 am to JesusQuintana
No you haven't you may have seen one guy knock him just to provide a hot take but anyone with half a brain knows he's the top back. The 2 down thing is bullshite the he can't catch narrative is bullshite he had the best hands at the combine and caught tough downfield passes this season. Only thing even being questioned is pass protection which is the case with 99% of all rookie running backs. We won't hear a peep from the anti Fournette crowd come draft day.

Why has he been pegged as a 2 down back?
Because he has a high ankle sprain 1 out of every 3 plays.

I am all for a good troll every now and again but this thread is stupid.
LF is so much better than TR it is not even worth discussing.
TR had an entire career of getting a 8 yard head start before ever getting touched in college.
LF had a shitty OC and no real threat of a passing attack. He was still successful even though you knew he would get the ball.
LF will be an all pro as long as he avoids injury. He is a hard worker and very liked by his teammates.

Fournette didn't score well and he may in fact be dumb as a barrel but he's shown he has a good character and stays out of trouble. It's when you're dumb and always in trouble that you truly get dinged.
If I were him or his agent I'd be far more concerned about him being pegged as a 2 down back.
