a former LB and member of the US Army Tony Fein started it here in 2008-09. I personally think he stole it from the movie Any Given Sunday. He made it a thing for the dominating defenses of those years. Our defenses went to absolute shite in 10-11 so it kind of went away.....
Seattle picked up him after being cut by the Ravens....he never played a down for them. He had some bad PTSD and was addicted to pills. Ended up OD'ing one night and some of his former players still at Ole Miss restarted it in his honor.

Have you not watched it the past few years? Crap every award at the ESPY's is basically given to some gay person because they are oh so brave to be gay. Even my lesbian sister finds it ridiculous and annoying.
