Fake cramps or no fake cramps the truth of the matter is a good SEC team doesn't go toe to toe with a Sun Belt team. Tennessee has big problems this year.

Except that the HUNH isn't cheating.

Control over advancement of the play clock via the snap is a power given to offenses BY the rulebook. There's nothing wrong with doing it quickly instead of being lackadaisical about it.

Faking an injury is not a power given to defenses BY the rulebook. It's against the rules, there's just no way to enforce it.

Doing something within the rules (HUNH) is not the same thing as doing something against the rules (faking injuries). The lack of enforceibility doesn't make the two the same thing.

Great point.

Going down then taunting the crowd walking off is legit IMO

Did you boo louder when this happened or when your team left the field at halftime?

And watch the replay. The kid was grabbing his leg as soon as he made the tackle.

Maybe Tennessee should run an offense that works independent of Tempo

Hey cousin kissing arse hole! He taunted the student section because they were chanting certain things I will not repeat I was there. I would have done the same thing yea we lost in OT damn that sucks but we went into Knoxville and punched you pussies in the mouth and you sat back and took it the whole game. Your oline outweighed our Dline by 50 lbs a piece. STFU and go home Butch is joke UT is a joke in the east and Dobbs sucks arse. Yall are done I have never been anywhere where I saw as many criminals on a field as I did in Knoxville and Ive been the Ga Southern and ur players made them look like angels.

They also were cramping because they didn't sub anybody barely on Defense while yall were running fresh bodies in and out of there like it was your job. I might also add that if you weren't at the game and were at home watching on your 2nd cousins TV than you didn't see the clear push off Malone had on Duck for the TD thats the only way he was gonna get separation the whole game. Your wideouts had at 5" on the CBs and couldn't produce shite yall recruit 4* and 5s* but and make excuses for why they suck.

In the long run US duh? We got national exposure again advantage App for recruiting and media attention. Yall got bad exposure and showed what it will take to beat yall hand the rock off and go straight down yalls throats. We lost yes correct we also got paid a shite ton of money while embarrassing yall on a national stage. This was worse than Michigan because it was national TV everyone was watching. Michigan most people couldn't even see on TV. Honestly the question of who won is stupid.

It's a gimmick, regardless of who uses it. It's a way (within the rules) to limit defensive substitutions, avoid replays, and hopefully tire out opposing defenses.

The fact that fans of the mighty Tennessee volunteers are talking about a Sun Belt being "cowardly" when they don't have the nads to lineup and push them off the ball is hysterical

You get plenty of hype that's leftover from 2007. Every time you play a p% team you get hyped. but you've lost against every p% team you've played since 2007. And if you "pounded the rock" so hard, how come you didn't score after the 2nd quarter?

You played well, but you didn't embarrass us, we won.

That's one of the biggest upsets in CFB history, and we won last night if you don't remember

If Hurd and Kamara are the best running duo in the nation according to 80% of ur fanbase than why didnt they pound the rock, oh wait they sucked.

It's the most effective scheme against fast paced HUNH attack. I understand when a player or two go down, it might be a coincidence. But when 6~7 players go down in multiple series to slow the game down, that's a legit cramp defense.

It used to happen to Oregon all the time in the Pac-12. It happened to AU a lot when Gus first got there in 2009 (teams were taking dives all the time).

However, in recent years it hasn't been a thing (at least from what I've seen) because 90% of teams are running tempo now. They see it in practice and are conditioned for it.

I think some of the App St. cramps were legit, but it's hard to say how many were faked (some might have been). Remember, those guys are not deep and can't rotate like most SEC teams.

Also, I have never seen a defense get called for delay of game. Did anyone notice that? Apparently App. St. was doing something illegal on defense with their hand motions and got called for it. Since they were doing that, then I wouldn't be surprised if some of the cramps were faked too.

HOWEVER, App St. is App St. UT is UT. There is no reason UT should have struggled with them like they did even if App St. was being dirty and faking injuries.
