Is Chubb assured to be the starter?

Having just come off a nasty injury he will definitely be slower and less effective. Georgia doesn't have anybody that can beat him out? Have they been struggling recruiting running backs? It's weird that they would start somebody like Chubb.

Sony would be set to start if not for the recent arm injury, which he still might be ready to go for the opener. The main thing is people are saying Chubb is progressing so well and he's so far ahead of schedule that people assume he will start. It's still up in the air.
After Sony and Chubb we have two freshman 4*'s in Holyfield and Herrien who could break out this season.

Like Gurley coming off a nasty injury and winning nfl offensive rookie of the year?

He wasn't until Sony Michel broke his arm

Will Mathieu make the Cards roster? He'll definitely be slower and less effective.

Mathieu also had an ACL not PCL. Plus he has a high football IQ in a position where that can make up for physical limitations

Can we get a breakdown of Chubb's injury as compared to an ACL and why he will definitely be slower and less effective? TIA.

Look it up. Take some initiative. Report back with your findings. You will feel a sense of accomplishment.

I have. A lot more than you have.
We just won't know until he plays.

You don't know what I know but you state that you know more. That is a sign of insecurity about how much you actually know.

I'm saying I don't know shite about Nick Chubb's knee, and neither do you.

Sure, but recent history of high level RB knee injuries/rehab is pretty good.
