As opposed to the majority who think A&M will forever regress to what we were from 2001-2011? Ignoring the fact that we were one of the winningest programs in the country from 1985-2000 and that was without the kind of funding, fan support and media hype we have now?

Yeah, I'd say most people here hold a pretty illogical view of A&M.

Hanging your hat on that decade in the 1930's I see.

The only school anyone will ever take seriously from Texas, is Texas.

I'm gonna lol when we win 7 games this year and everyone is pissed.

People don't realize how bad we underachieved last year and how much we return.

They look and see oh, Tyler Wilson and Cobi Hamilton are gone but don't look at anything else.

You want to talk distant history but not recent history? That's not how it works. You lost by 7 TDs just a few months ago. 7 TDs. Go dig out a VHS if you want to revisit only certain games

Oh, so recent history equals one year. Got it.

I can't hear you from the roar of those SEVEN TDs. I will remember that we're not a "respected" team from Texas when y'all are filing for the exits early again this year.

Yeah and automobiles were touted as a pollution control device because of all the piles of horseshite.

Forget history, from 2012 forward THE premier football school in the State of Texas is the SEC representative, Texas A&M University.

I doubt that you'll find many that aren't already A&M fans who would agree with you.

No offense, it takes more than 1 good year to dethrone Texas.

How many times have fans heard this? Through Bear Bryant, Gene Stallings, RC Slocum, and Jackie Sherril years.

I thought it was quite fun when nobody took is serious except LSU and Florida. Kicking everybody else's arse made me smile.

Can somebody tell LSU we are non-threatening so we can go undefeated this year?

Kills me? What would kill me about watching my team beat your arse 90% of my lifetime?

aTm is probably the most underachieving program ever, in college football. You would be hard pressed to find a program historically in such a fertile recruiting area, falter as much as aTm has the past 75 years.

Should be easier, but do any of you really think the transition is complete? Whose hanging there hat on last year. You lost some very good players from last years team. More homerism and that is okay, I wouldn't expect anything less. Most of the experienced players were recruited for Malzahn's offense and I still feel there will be a transition.

Where did I say it complete. It maybe skewed a bit to the homer side but who's isn't, much like your statement. I just think too many people are basing their opinion one just one season. That season was destined to fail. Coach B is a very good coach and has surrounded himself with very good coaches. That's why I think its going to be a better year than most think.

How would you rate our play last year against the mighty pigs? You are quite the astute college football fan.
