A&M wasn't top 5 when they played, and Lsu was nothing special last year either. Plus they got them both at home.

A big transition for Arkansas coming up this year. They are open for an upset especially the first game of the year. I do think BB will get them competitive within 3 years though.

The flagship will sink eventually, the only question is whether a secondary school from Louisiana will do it or we'll have to endure them until they start getting their teeth kicked in by 30 in SEC play.

The transition has already taken place, Bielema has been on campus for a while now. The incoming class is totally comprised of players he recruited. This won't be as drastic as everyone hopes.

First game of the year is UL. The Cajuns are good. If UL wins I'm not sure I'd post here, on a Louisiana based site, as an Arky fan. Consecutive losses to UL, LSU, and UL-M. Ouch.
It's UL-L boy. No such school as the University of Louisiana exists in the state of Louisiana. It's the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, cousins of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. UL is Louisville.

Decent line and a 5 star back in their recruiting class, they'll be alright. Might give A&M all they can handle for that home game.

If you think the transition is over then okay...good luck I don't hope anything. I offered a level headed non flaming opinion. All the recruits he brought in won't all be starting. Never said it will be a monumental transition. I said Arky is open for upsets as is Auburn if that makes you feel better. Settle down homer.

Dude... after the debacle our program has been through only Samford would be an upset.

My feelings too - after the last ~16 months I can handle anything.

Stonehog disagrees. He feels Arky will challenge for the SEC trophy. Nothing to worry about gents.

How will you feel when Arkansas beats aTm?

It's only happened 11 times since 1957 and 16 times since 1938.

So actually, aTm beating Arkansas would be a much bigger upset than ULL beating Arkansas.

Gotta improve a lot to reverse 58-10 with Johnny sitting the 4th.

I'm not worried about Arkansas, State, Auburn, or Mizzou this year.

Bama, LSU, Vandy, and Ole Miss are the schools that have a chance at beating us (more than just a "chance" in LSU and Bama's case)

frick off, I said I'm not worried about Louisiana-Lafayette. Not exactly the same thing as calling for a championship. And I don't give a shite what you think about Auburn, no one even brought them up.

Not having that shitshow on the sidelines wearing polos is worth at least 30 points off the A&M side and 2 TD's on our side.

I'm gonna call it now. A&M 28 Arky 24.

It should be easier for Bielema to transition to his offense from Petrino's than it was for Petrino from Nutts. Contrary to popular belief in the vast pool of knowledge we call the rant. There is talent on this team. Too many people are hanging their hats on last years team as to how this year will go. Johnelle ain't walking through those doors and hand the other team a win. Less than 50 days and its game on bitches and the Hogs are here to waller in your sorrows.

Pre-WWII smack.

It's all they've got, folks. I forgot how many points we beat them by last year, but I remember it being a lot.
