A&M has enough talent to have a solid season if things fall their way. This description fits most teams in the SEC except maybe 2 or 3.

Except A&M is barely mentioned at all when talking about potential West contenders.

Their talent, upgrade on coaching defensively, and schedule makes them a legit dark horse team in the West to reach Atlanta IMO.

A&M beating Auburn last year has as much relevance to this year's performance as Auburn winning the national championship in 2010. That is, zero. Unless, of course, both teams have the exact players and coaches that they did last year, and each plays exactly the same in 2015 as they did in 2014.

Yes, because comparing two teams with 70%+ of the same players and coaches on each team as before is the same as comparing teams with 0% of the same.

Yes, that was exactly my point because the style of play, team chemistry, injury situation, literally everything, will be different this year FOR BOTH TEAMS. That's why it's a new year. I'm assuming you hope so too because I don't think you really want to finish around 8-5 again, right?

Yeah, did you see a LSU fan replied to that, saying they would trade Florida in a heartbeat as well?

I believe thier defense was ranked something like 111th out of 126. quite honestly it would be a miracle if thier defense was ranked 63rd. what is awful is the fact that at 63 you would still have a terrible defense and probably somewhere close to last in the sec. I think Chavis does wonders and gets them somewhere in the 80s. 65 at best.

Well, Chavis is a good coach, and their team was really young.

Even improvement to the 70s/60s in total defense with their playmakers on offense make them a very dangerous team.
