If Chavis get's the D into the top 80 in year 1 that is a major improvement.

Sny_er should have been fired a year earlier, but getting Chavis makes me feel better about our prospects on D.

On tSECr?
Of course.
But I'm thinkin' Sumlin and team will improvise/overcome the collective opinion of the 19-year-old brain trust here.
The folks who matter (opposing coaches, teams, etc) know what's up.

Enjoyed your post.

Auburn lost to A&M bro. It doesn't matter if Auburn won 24 straight national championships prior to this year. They lost to A&M and that's a solid fact. That instance alone puts both teams on an even playing field. Stop being a Temnessee fan.

And Alabama lost to Ole Miss.

So they are the same. Correct?

Sumlin's and Malzhan's records have both gotten worse every year since they arrived at their respective schools

LOL. Kind of Tough for Malzhans not to.

Well absolutely. Alabama is breaking in a lot of new players this year and Ole Miss isn't necessarily a door mat anymore.

At this point in time, relative to their opponents mentioned, they're on even playing fields.

Also the fact we finished with the same record last year and we beat Auburn at Auburn last year. But get your facts out of here
You forgot that you finished behind Auburn in the SEC West with a worse conference record.

ETA: just remember that they were a butt fumble and tripping penalty away from finishing dead last in the West

Both have offensive minded coaches whose offenses can put up points on anyone

Except for a&m against Bama.

But I enjoyed the post. It is possible that a&m is being overlooked, but it's just so damn difficult to predict what the west will be every year. If this years a&m team were to play last years I have no doubt this years team would win. They will be a better team, but the question is how much better or worse will the other squads be? And I'm just not sure.

I put my prediction at 8-4 + or - one game in either direction.

Johnny Manizel is not coming out of that tunnel to lead A&M to another 3rd place SEC West finish.

Sure, I think they could be player in the west. Still think they are a year away from a possible 10-11 win season. The west looks to be getting even tougher.

I think A&M wins 8 games at minimum.

With all 3 games at home, I don't think its unreasonable to think they can win 1/3 at minimum, and 2/3 is very possible.

Arky isn't at home it's at Jerry World.

Texas A&M has been getting overlooked since 1939.

The sooner people realize that program is always overhyped the sooner you will realize you can say they are overlooked every year and be wrong every year.
