I don't see much difference between them and Auburn.

The similarities between A&M and Auburn...

1. Both hired proven coaches at the DC position.
2. Both have offensive minded coaches whose offenses can put up points on anyone
3. Both return young talent on their defenses

A&M also has a more proven QB at this point than Auburn does, although I think that Jeremy Johnson has the talent to be the best QB in the SEC by the end of the season.

Looking at the schedule, if A&M can beat ASU, they head into the toughest stretch of their schedule against Arky, MSU, and Bama at 4-0.

With all 3 games at home, I don't think its unreasonable to think they can win 1/3 at minimum, and 2/3 is very possible.

That leaves their toughest games left at Ole Miss and at LSU.

Both of those teams have questions at QB. I don't think 9-3 is far fetched for A&M, and depending on how quickly Chavis can coach up the defense, they could compete for a trip to ATL.

EDIT: It was pointed out that Arky vs. A&M is a neutral site game, but still A&M has a good shot in that one IMO.

Except for one has two SEC Championships in the past 5 years and has been to two national championships.

The other has not

Also the fact we finished with the same record last year and we beat Auburn at Auburn last year. But get your facts out of here

It's A&M. They are historically overlooked, and they prove every season it's rightfully so.

If you have a high preseason rating and a dollar you can get a cup of coffee.

Ready for foot to meet ball so we see who shows up to play this season.

Don't believe Auburn has any basis to talk shite to Aggies. We beat them twice in their stadium and they beat us once while getting away with a flagrant horsecollar to stop us at the end.

I think Auburn is being "underlooked", which is why your list of similarities makes sense. A&M's outlook is more in line with what AU's should be.

They're getting slept on a little bit IMO. I don't think Chavis does a 180 on defense in year 1, but they should be in almost every game.

Auburn has road games at A&M, Arky, LSU, and a tricky Thursday night game at UK.

Just from a schedule perspective, A&M has a significant advantage there.

Auburn lost to A&M bro. It doesn't matter if Auburn won 24 straight national championships prior to this year. They lost to A&M and that's a solid fact. That instance alone puts both teams on an even playing field. Stop being a Temnessee fan.

No, we are being marginalized because by the math us sucking shite is the only way that Ole Miss, LSU and MSU don't have mediocre seasons.

But I appreciate your fresh perspective.

A 180 on defense would put us in the top 80. That's how bad Sny_er was.

Sumlin's and Malzhan's records have both gotten worse every year since they arrived at their respective schools

So basically you are saying Sumlin is on the third down of his A&M career? We are at Third and Chavis?
