Lsu's overall win % vs Bama is 35.8%

and

Miles' overall win % vs Bama with Saban is 37.5%

I get it. Bama beating them in a rematch, not for the NC, doesn't fix what Auburn did by winning the IB though. Sure, you settle the score this year in the W/L column, but that's it. Auburn will still claim the IB victory and what that win meant for Bama's season.

No it wasn't. They got beat and then they won one later on. 1-1 That's been beaten to death.

You got beat. Deal with it. In this system, you take care of business and you go with no questions. Guess what. Alabama didn't take care of business AGAIN, and lost their shot at another shot at the title.

What did you say would happen before the first go around? Just wondering. Or are you saying this because bama beat the shite out of LSU the second time, and if it happened to LSU.......?

I'm just stating what would happen. Not dick riding. Look, I'm ready for the elephants to fall off a cliff. I just know Saban is masterful when given plenty of time to prepare for a team (trust me, we know).

I say that you guys are cute for begging for mulligans and all you stupid bastards can do is bring up old numbers and old games.

Which has nothing to do with the fact that you guys are proving to everyone, with threads like this, that you guys are so incredibly self entitled/saturated.

Don't really understand why any Bama fan would want a re-match.

It would cheapen the IB. All they would be able to say is that they split the series with AU for the year.

This is not like the LSU rematch, where a trophy came with it. Wow, they won the Sugar Bowl...we won the IB...whoopie!

And that would be assuming they would win the rematch...god help our campus in Auburn and all the random shootings if we won both.

I am sure you think the next QB will be better than AJ.

Not at all but I watched Bama go 12-2 in 2008 with John Parker Wilson under center. Then I watched Bama win it all the next year with a first year starter at QB. Then they did it again in 2011.

Auburn has had a great season and my hat is off to them but I wouldn't read this past Iron Bowl as some great seismic shift in the balance of power. Auburn is coming up but you're mistaken if you think Bama is going down.

FSU and Sparty still have games left, and maybe Winston will actually get charged for they'll just wait until FSU already punches their ticket.

Bama did everything wrong in the 9-6 game. It was a fluke and the Title Game proved it. Get over your overrated program.

Thankfully, no. I'm not going back and forth with you about what this rivalry means, I get that. You are not seeing my only point, Im not debating the importance of the game in Alabama, just strictly pointing out this game isnt as important as the IB was this year, unless it is for the NC.

Have a great day

What other SEC coach is 3-5 vs Saban since 2007?
What other coach period?
And in those 8 games, 6 of them were decided in the final minute. Can any other SEC team say that?
I'll give Saban his due, he's 5-3 vs Miles, but at least LSU has been competitive vs Saban in every game (except 2012 BCSNCG - that was just other-worldly in it's strangeness.)

You and I both know, even without Winston, Duke isn't winning that game. Give me a break. You guys are out of it and you know it. That's why we've seen so many threads begging for a rematch or coming up with bullshite scenarios where Alabama can get in.

lets think about that voting break down for a sec there chief..

You quote a poll from "al.com" to promote the idea of a rematch of AU/UA in a state where the majority of fans are pro-bama?

What makes you think the bama fans wouldnt want a rematch to redeem themselves ????

That would not redeem anything. They still lost the IB. Thier SGA prez still has to show up and sing our fight song. The best they could hope for is a tie.

Thier ultimate nightmare would be losing twice.

I could care less. It was a great game, but we've seen that really close games during the regular season don't necessarily mean that the resulting post-season game will be as epic.

If we get one because that's how the stars aligned, great, wonderful, so be it. I didn't create the BCS, but if the system places us in a rematch game, I'll accept it because that's the system EVERY university accepted and the ones that complain about it are being hypocritical.

That said, I don't expect a rematch, and if the system were to place Okie State or another 1 loss team ahead of us instead, I'll be okay with that too.

It's just football.
