So let's say they do meet up in the Sugar bowl, does a win by Bama soften the blow of the Iron Bowl? I don't think it does. The loss by Bama in the IB was huge. Auburn not only won the game, it ended any chance Bama had at a NC. A rematch in any game not named the BCSNC means nothing.

Not really, unless it's a blowout. Nothing changes the IB loss took Bama out of NC contention.

Of course you don't. I am sure you think the next QB will be better than AJ. I mean, all I hear from bama fans is the back-up, at any position, is better than the guy starting. #bamadecline has started. Now how far that decline takes you has yet to be determined.
