I think they can beat UA, but it will depend on them correcting some glaring mistakes. That being said, I wouldn't put money on AU. It's quite possible that UA blows them off the field like UGA did. It's also possible AU mans up and gives UA all they can handle.
(I know that's a lot of vacillating, but that game is never easy to call.)

Bama was supposed to blow out the 09 AU team and barely won. Granted that was at JHS but still. USUALLY the better team wins the Iron Bowl. If we lose this one I will cry everyday for a year. Literally cry.

We won't win by 35... This is a rivaly game and Auburn is still VERY talented and the cross-eyed troll is still a damn good coach... I think Bama wins but it won't be a complete beatdown..

I think if we can keep it close in the first half we will win.
Alabama is a very good team this year, but not as great as year's past.
I really think Auburn has the potential for this upset. But they will have to give it 100% and have some things bounce the right way.
At this point, I am also of the opinion there is no such thing as a punt on 4th down.

What gives AU a chance is UAs Offense. They have had difficulty moving the ball against Ark, LSU and
MSU in recent weeks. AUs Defense has made average Offenses look good, so AU Offense will have pull out all the stops. Up until this weekend, AUs Offense was hard to stop, but I think Gus's fear of his own Defense changed his playcalling. They are a different team without Duke Williams and Coleman has issues with a Speed End. AU has nothing to lose, so it could be interesting.
