Ole Miss acknowledges that text exchanges from a student athlete and an asst AD about payment to said student athlete are real. If Ole Miss is found guilty, their punishment could be among the most severe we've seen in some time. This topic has 23 pages in 5 days.

Alabama has two players - a starter and a back up - arrested in Louisiana. If found guilty of the crimes as currently accused, neither player will play college football again. If not found guilty, or guilty of a lesser charge, both will play again - likely this season. This topic has 53 pages in less than 10 hours.

I'm not sure what it says about tRant, but it says something for sure.

Some fans are bitter and immature that these kids left their state for a superior football program.

Says Alabama is more relevant than ole miss and losing cam and hootie will directly affect your upcoming season. That is if Nicky has the least bit of morals and kicks them off.

Why the frick do you even care? Do you pay attention to your recruiting? I'm sure Alabama football will be just fine without two tpos.

You've been around for years. Why would you expect anything different? Why even start this thread? When you're on top, more people want to see you fall.

Cam Robinson's job at LT was in jeopardy before this. He didn't even start much in the Spring.

And Hootie Jones was a non factor with our depth. This changes nothing.

Whether they're found guilty or not..a gun is a gun. They will not play another snap at Alabama.

This is pretty much my take on it too, which is why it's a bit surprising (even though there is alabama hatred/fatigue across much of the conference, and LSU fans will jump on any chance to blast kids from their own state who make a mistake as long as they leave the state first).

The OM thing will be a national story for a while, and could be something we talk about for years to come. This story today will be blown over in a matter of days.

Well, the bama thread is a single thread about an event.

The rant on 4/28 was completely taken over by threads and posts about the demise of the festering corpse that is ole miss football..

So, your premise is flawed..
