Because no one in Atlanta is actually from ATL/GA. Im not a Carolina fan, but I have been to more Panthers games then any other team.

Not a fan of the Panthers, but have many friends who are. Wouldn't care if they won.

Getting that way here too. The homegrown still pull for the Redskins and there are a ton of Steeler transplants across North Carolina. The Panther fans here seem to be from the younger generation. My kids love them and are enjoying this season.

I live near the New Orleans area, so I really don't care for the Panthers. I was pulling for the Cardinals. I've been to Charlotte and had a few negative experiences with the people (no, I did not go as a "Saints fan"). But I guess I'd rather see the Panthers with the SB instead of the Broncos.

There are quite a few folks in east Tennessee that are Panthers fans, too. Not really sure why, but there are.
I couldn't really embrace them when I lived in SC. Always felt more like NC's team.

There was no such thing as the Panthers or Falcons when I was a kid growing up in this area ... we were all Washington Redskins fans.
I still am, although I gave them up for awhile while Haynesworth was there.
We do need new ownership though.

I'm a Steeler fan.
We have one Panther fan in the family, and one recent bandwagon jumper (AU fan and lifelong Falcon fan who now seems to have a wardrobe full of Panther merchandise.)

Against anybody else, I'd be pulling for Carolina. But Von Miller and Gary Kubiak wrote me a nasty e-mail telling me to get my shite together. Plus there's the whole Peyton's last stand thing. So, half-hearted "Go Broncos" here.

I'm in the region but I'm not from the region, so I don't care at all except inasmuch as some of the more obnoxious fans spend an excessive amount of time talking about, and acting out, the TD celebrations.
