LINK

I noticed the thread on Kyler Murray has been anchored, after the first thread on Murray was deleted. I get that, as there are no threads on this board that discuss specific players or recruits which are allowed to remain. I don't want this thread to break that even-handed and appropriately moderated policy.

Instead, for this thread, lets discuss all the incoming SEC QBs. The above link provides some information. I'll highlight some of that information here, and then the discussion can begin:

1. Tennessee: Two 4 star QBs, Jennings and Dormady, both of whom had impressive offer lists. It's a great QB class and one of those guys should develop into a very good SEC qb.

2. Bama: Barnett - a 5 star pro-style QB who was offered by everybody. The next AJ?

3. A&M: Murray - a 5 star dual threat who was offered by everybody. Will also play baseball. Three state championships, never lost a game, gaudy stats.

4. Mizzou: Drew Lock - a 4 star, pro style QB. Might be a very good one.

5. Ole Miss: Chad Kelly - a 3 star, JC, dual threat QB. He's moved around some in college, but he has promise.

6. Arky: Ty Storey - 4 star pro-style QB. He'll fit the Arky system well.

7. Vandy: Shurmur - a 4 star pro-style guy. I know nothing about him.

8. USCe: Nunez - a 3 star pro-style guy. I know nothing about him.

9. Auburn: Queen - 3 star pro-style

10. MSU: Tiano - 3 star pro-style

11. LSU: McMillian - a 3 star dual threat. Miles beat out UNLV and Arkansas St for his commitment.

Your LSU obsession is amusing.

Just wanted to clear that up.

Also congrats on QD Vols. I really wanted to take two QB's last class, and he was far and away my pick for a 2nd offer.

ESPN/Scout & Rivals had him rated at 4 stars FWIW.

Apparently, Dormady can really throw the ball and has good command of an offense. Helps that he is a coach's son.

Appreciate the link. UT actually brought in 3 - 4* QB's in this past class though.

1.Sheriron jones
2.Quentin Dormady
3.Juauan Jennings

I think Jennings ends up at S or WR moving forward. He's an elite athlete and with his feet. He has a lot to work on from a mechanics and accuracy standpoint though. Really, really happy that we were able to pick up Dormady. I think he's the face of UT's QB situation after Dobbs moves on in his career.

I would move Queen for Auburn up.
Even Auburn fans weren't expecting much from him, but he's an early enrollee and he's come in and performed very well so far and exceeded expectations.

Not going to argue rankings but Nick Tiano is far from a traditional pro style QB. The kid had 136 rushing attempts his senior season and rushed for over 6 yards per carry.
