See guys. Tunsil's lawyer and some recruit's mom says Ole Miss is clean. It must be true.

Now that the shite show is over and the bong smoke has cleared here is what we know:
1) Twitter account was hacked
2) video was old
3) the fact is that Tunsil said Ole Miss hadn't given him money and then said well yeah.
4) reason being because while we do not know the extent of the NCAA investigation Tunsil sure as hell knows.
5) he had already admitted it to the NCAA therefore he admitted it the media about getting help for a 300 dollar light bill
6) the texts prove nothing
7) the NCAA knows about those texts
8) and listen carefully sports fans: Tunsil will not be giving anyone else much less the NCAA a statement about this anymore
That is your 8 ball for the on going saga of Ole Miss athletics.

As Johnson City Reb has pointed out, the texts prove that they were altered. The time stamps, the shape of the balloons and the width of the space between the dialog columns can only be the result of post-editing.

What this says to me:
(1) The texts are legitimate. If they were doctored, the lawyer would claim their illegitimacy.
(2) The content of the texts is also legitimate. I'm not sure how these texts will make sense in a certain context, but that is the lawyer's claim.
If anything, this creates more smoke surrounding the situation not less.

Would answering questions be the worst possible scenario for Tunsil? Iow, there's no punishment he would get from the nfl is there even if it came out he took money?

The Dophins just want to control this situation. He will come out with a interview from a friendly interviewer but just on the Dophins and Tunsil's time table.
