The problem is they lost Lord Saban and picked up Leslie Myles.

You'll see what the problem is this weekend.

That we are lucky to be 4-0, and #4 in the country is not accurate relative to our team play.

If LSU continues to play at the current level demonstrated in the first 4 games, LSU will likely lose 4 or 5 games this season.

That is unacceptable.

When you look at how good the West is becoming, it isn't going to get any easier

Sorry that was two thoughts smashed together.

Miss State should have won with better playcalling on 3rd and 4th downs based on the way the actual game played out. They really shot themselves in the foot with the pass and the aborted pitch. They shouldn't have been in position to win with their TO's and big mistakes though.

On the other comment I meant that with 4 TO's, a punt return for a TD, and a INT for a TD that you would have expected LSU to win the game by 30 points. So I think with those giant big plays that they should have won big.

I know what you meant. I've just been pissed off since Jan. 3rd, 2005!

Were you a flute or piccalo player?

People are stacking the box daring LSU to throw because most SEC coaches, unlike the piccalo players on the Rant, don't believe JJ can complete passes on a regular basis.
JJ is checking into the wrong play and protection too often thus the coaches are calling them from the sidelines which results in delays in getting plays run. JJ is very young and as he improves the team will start to click.

For all you Miles critics, remember Ryan Perriloux was supposed to be the QB.
Where would Saban be if he had to start Star Jackson? Florida without Tebow is no where near the same team as with him.An experience QB makes a world of difference in how a team performs.
How many of you guys hs teams were successful with Freshmen or Sophmore QBs?

Unless you are actually on the practice field, how do you know who performs best at practice?
Saban's OC at LSU was Jimbo Fisher. The same Queens that criicized him are the ones ripping Crowton.
It's the internet and everyone can anonomously voice their opinion regardless of how misinformed or ignorant it may be.

Kind of like Bama looked against Utah in the Sugar Bowl!

another problem is that we suck this year, and last. Our coach is mule headed and wont change up his schemes. If you want to know where we're running the ball, just watch for the hopping tight end.

This is the really weird thing; to me this LSU team doesn't care if they win or lose, or how. Somewhere, somebody isn't teaching T-E-A-M. It's too much reliance on individual skills and too little reliance on each other together. Les or somebody has forgotten a really important fundamental. "Gentlemen, this is a football. And gentlemen, you are a team."

LSU is a mixed bag with Les Miles but with every coach you have your quirks....

With Les you pretty much know that we aren't going to lose to an OOC opponent, and his teams usually play up to or down to the competition. And to go along with that, LSU could beat any team in the nation or get blown out by 40. Just what you get with the Hatted one.

With Nick Saban he will have a great defense, say aight a bunch, sometimes forget to wear a belt. He will also find a way to lose to team that he has absolutely no business losing to. (ULM, UAB...)

With Richt you get 10 wins. If you need more than 10 wins to get to the NC game, too bad - you get 10 wins. Does it matter if you have the #1 draft pick and a 1st round running back? No, you get 10 wins.

i could go on, but you get the idea

It is funny, how a bama fan(s) can come on here and make claims that Tiger fans are flaming them and their present coach out of jealousy???
Sounds like the pot calling the kettle - "black"

Camron = Mi Ya Yo
Another way of saying Miami – meaning Miami being the home of distribution of cocaine.
have not beaten any very good teams and have looked bad against lesser teams. horrible playcalling, they dont play the best players, shitty tackling, and an overall soft team.
(What is a probably coke head/dealer doing making these kinds of statements?)

NATidefanIn My Opinion, LSU's Problem is that they are....
(Posted on 9/29/09 at 12:26 p.m.)
Not playing with any heart, intensity, passion.

They have seemed very flat and just seem to be going through the motions, like they are doing just enough to win, but not trying to dominate.

JMO

They were one bad call by Dan Mullen and a foot from being beat by Mississippi State.
(OK is this a pompous Bama fans statement?)True, but they are more talented than the teams they have played and still having these problems.
Why?
I meant they are more talented at those places than the teams they have played, wasn't comparing them to previous LSU teams.
(Can you compare the 2008 Bama team to this ’09 Tide team? i didn't think so!)
True, but Bama had also flashed some greatness by that point in the clemson and georgia and arky games, LSU has yet to. (LOL-more delusional thinking!)

So, since several LSU fans agree with me, what do yall purpose needs to be done to fix it to save the season.
IMO if you keep this up yall will lose to Bama, Georgia, Florida and probably one, maybe two more. (Where is your Crystal Ball?)

To tell the truth, I don't remember how they got in the position to score with a minute left to take the lead. I had to bounce back and forth cause the bama game started with about four minutes left in the LSU game. I don't know what you mean by they were gifted, if you mean lsu screwed up, then that's part of the game.
The fact is MSU, was on the number 7 team's one foot line in place to take the lead with a minute left. And had two attempts to do so.
The game should have never been that close. Would you like to debate that?
My whole point by posting that was to respond to the person who acted like they had nothing to worry about because they were #4 and give an example of why LSU has something to worry about.
(More beating down and jealousy of a28 year old redneck bully or is that pussy?)
Klaus
Everyone knows they shouldn't be ranked this high.
(anyone with an Avatar like yours, indicates someone that has a sickness … leave the rest to the individual mind!)

BINGO! (and all you have is your Commercial Drivers License? That says plenty!)

This team has taken the attitude of its coach. (4 post and you claim to be an LSU fan and you are in agreement with 75% of the LSU fan base on the rant, because it is easy for you?)

LSU311Fan
send us Brian Kelly! (so, are ready to throw in the towel?) Just compare their records?

Alahunter

It wasn't a case where LSU was bailed out when they really deserved to lose. Miss St was about to win the game mostly off of LSU unforced errors of one ridiculous player from an odd position.
Really? (Stats below = indicate nothing but a loss for MSU and a W for LSU – all Hyperbole)

I’m not going to include your opinion, it is a very good, well thought out one from a mature individual and from a Georgia Bulldog fan.

this same bama fan with 74 post who claims to live in Hawaii??? And don’t be beating down on those Gators just yet, you have a few other tough SEC opponents to play yet!
