Meh. They played once. Boring blowout.

In the postgame, Bowden said Auburn would never repeat the game.

Guess they're in desperation mode.

Sucks that Greg Bryant was shot and killed.

I was really looking forward to seeing him play for UAB. They signed two 5 stars in their last class and he was one of them...

I'd like to see Auburn and Alabama work with both UAB and South Alabama in baseball and basketball.

Play a double header in BB in both Mobile and B'Ham for basketball every year.

Play two game midweek series in baseball in B'ham and Mobile. Helps to sell the bigger schools state wide. Gets a few more fans in the gate for the smaller ones

Bama plays UAB, Samford, and South Alabama in baseball.

We played UAB at Regions Field actually this past season.

Knew they played the Jags this year.

Thinking about what I said more, I guess I'd like to see an instate version of the Winn Dixie Challenge. Have a tournament type setting in Mobile and B'Ham with UAB, USA, Auburn and Alabama.
Maybe even invite Troy.

That would be pretty cool. I would go to that if it was at Regions Field in BHam.

I think this is good.

We need to give that program all the money that they can have considering how the University of Alabama has tried to wipe them off the face of the earth.

They have been owned and rented out by the University of Alabama long enough.

I honestly think a lot of that has died down. There were quite a few influential UA people that have helped raise money for the new UAB football facilities being built. I agree that an in state baseball and basketball tournament for the major schools would be well received. It wouldn't surprise me to see Bama host a Troy, South Alabama, or even UAB one day in football. In the meantime, the Auburn game would help UAB a lot.
