None of these point comparisons matter. Losing by less points is not improvement.

Butch Jones is 2-1 this year so far with his only loss being in overtime to Oklahoma. I would say it is a bit premature to write him off this season. I will say that he does need to start winning this year and I really think 8 wins are attainable for sure +or-1. I don't particularly like the guy (whenever he talks it sounds like BS) but that is not unusual and will be easily forgiven if he wins.
This Florida game is huge for him when it comes to the fanbase.

He's still losing games. And a large portion of your fanbase thought you guys weren't going to have any growing pains even with such a young defensive line. "NUH UH! WE'RE SO TALENTED THAT EXPERIENCE DON'T MATTER! ROCKY TOP!"

I want y'all to keep Butch. Granted that means he will fight for some top recruits but he will always hurp-d-durp a couple close games away every season (i.e. OU this season).

When I lived in Tennessee, I used to have a tradition of watching the coach's show on each Sunday after UT lost to Bama. Chance to see the replay and probably get a few laughs. In 2013, after Bama jumped out to a 35-0 lead by halftime and sat the starters, the game finished 45-10. On his show, Butch said "It was a tie game in the second half." I knew at that moment they'd never win any championships with Butch. You don't win big with the moral victory mentality.

Hes earned it with the way he has been recruiting but if you guys aren't either winning or finishing 2nd in a weak SEC east this year or next there is a problem

While Mizzou was "battling", you guys were the cellar dwellers. Technically, at this point, you guys aren't even be in the same sentence as Mizzou
