Improvement under Butch Jones

I think he deserves more patience from Vol fans.
year to year improvement under CBJ has been consistent. it's yet to show up in wins but I feel we should see that improve this year also. starting this week.
Our point differential improved (or stayed the same in the case of Georgia) against every one of our yearly opponents between Butch's first season and second season.

He's a football coach. At the end of the day, what do you care about more - losing by less points year to year or actually winning big games?

I think Butch has done a good job at UT. He's just not the best game day coach, but maybe that comes with time or maybe you stockpile so much talent it won't matter. I wouldn't be so quick to run him off yet but if you lose both against us and UGA, he may just be a Zook.

UT was in shambles and he has completely gutted and rebuilt.
It would be so stupid to fire him as of now. AT LEAST wait until after 2016 season.

Don't forget our APR numbers rising every year he's been here.
Also our recruiting ranking has gone up each year he's been here.
Also our # of wins and # of SEC wins has gone up.
It is idiotic to even be questioning him at this point.
If we go through next season and all he's done as had four straight 5-7 to 7-5 seasons then we can make changes.
For now all the evidence is showing that this season will once again be an improvement on what we did last year and if that trend continues we will like where we end up.

This. People don't realize how bad the shape of the program was when he came here, the fact that how quickly he rebuilt the program is anything. His job security should be determined for 2016 season.
