This thread......
fAggies, you don't even play a game outside your own state until November. NOVEMBER! If you're on "another level", stop scheduling FCS teams, stop playing neutral site games only in your own state or SEC territory, schedule the heavyweights from the other conferences and go beat them in their house as well as your own, and PROVE IT. Otherwise you're just another chest beating, self aggrandizing douche who lacks the courage of his convictions.
And no.....there aren't any teams in the SEC that could just go win a title at any other conference (or vice versa) and there never have been. Too many venues you haven't played in, coordinator schemes you've never faced, and teams with personnel and schemes you aren't familiar with, so just forget that nonsense. Look what happened to WVU and TCU when they joined the BIG XII. Look at Nebraska in the B1G. They were overwhelmed at first. That's reality.

Oklahoma is an also ran these days. Their fans get to watch them play Kansas and ISU at 11 AM on regional Fox Sports stations and complain about how they don't have the money to afford renovating their shite.
Sad really

Yet they're still 10 times more prestigious and more accomplished than AssToMouth. Your program stood in line at 7AM at national check cashers waiting in line to cash their conference checks to build their shitty stadium trying to buy an image of prestige you don't have and u still can't manage better than 8-5. Sad really.

bullshite, LSU plays everyone of those teams but Georgia every year, and all of them every six years. Pretty sure we've had all of three sub-10 win seasons over the past 11 years (9-4 and 8-5 twice), and will win at least 10 again this year.
This year's OSU team would be an 8-9 win team (including bowl game) in the SEC West, and that's only because Arkansas and Auburn are down.
Are we back to pretending that every team in the SEC West is good again? Every year LSU plays Arkansas, Auburn, Mississippi State, A&M, and Ole Miss. Most years that's five wins for any top football team. Throw in a weak East opponent or two and three or four cupcake OOC opponents and it's not as difficult as you imply to get to 10 wins.
Ohio State could walk through the SEC West, especially with an OOC of McNeese State, Syracuse, Eastern Michigan, and Western Kentucky. Ohio State plainly has an easy schedule, but that isn't directly related to their ability to win football games.

My personal thoughts: I agree with his sentiments, I think the SEC is the best conference, but I think there's a lot of parity nation wide this year. We're better, but not by a huge margin.
This year has looked really weird, honestly, so far.
As for MSU, I'd say 9-3/10-2 (depending on matchups). Although, they need to start picking it up (they didn't look very good vs CMU last week)

Except, you know, when they're beating SEC teams.

LSU has played all those teams in one season, just add USC or Tenn instead of LSU. Same goes for bama. Tenn isn't very good, but they have recruited very well as of late.
I guess Arkansas under petrino wasn't a push over either.

Its amazimg how both UT and Oklahoma hve declined in recent years.... They used to BATTLE for the top recruits in both states.. Just doesn't happen anymore...I will never understand the deal with Texas... We are talking about fricking TEXAS..... The downfall is epic....

OU just won the Sugar Bowl two seasons ago and they're in decline? Because Paul Finenbaum said so before getting his arse handed to him yet again by Bob?
One 8-5 season isn't decline and YOU should know that, LSU, of all people. Are you "in decline"? Get real.....
Total absence of self awareness.

That's all you have. Bitterly clinging to the days of Manziel and one fleeting victory. What's that amount to? 3 total wins for your joke of a program against OU under Bob? Sad really....

I have still yet to witness Texas A&M win a BCS bowl, probably will never happen.
And I'm still not convinced an SEC power would go undefeated in the Big 12, there's too much spread and offense weekly to maintain defensive dominance.

That Northern Illinois game seems to go against your sentiment.
I would not be surprised to see you lose to Mich State , Michigan, and maybe just maybe Penn State.
Let us just look at LSU schedule to compare and pretend it is Ohio State.
I am pretty sure you would lose @ Alabama and @ Ole Miss.

I respect what Ole Miss is doing and their fans should be proud, but let's talk about Ole Miss as a powerhouse when they win the SEC or a big time bowl game.
Until then, 42-3 is always in the back of my mind.
