And all those teams won. I'll ask again, who in the Pac is gonna give those team multiple loses?

Pick 1 of the 5 Pac 12 teams in the top 25.

What happens in bowl games is not the undisputed way to judge the division or even conference. It should factor sure but it isn't the end all be all.

If Alabama can beat all but one of these teams, why can't they beat Ohio St.?

LSU is 22-4 vs. the Pac 12. SEC is 111-76-10. But by all means, ignore my cfb opinions.

The sec is the best conference but the gap isn't nearly as big as most SEC fans think.

A&M´s still just settling in (and recruiting is benefitting from the new conference adhesion)

Yea but dude it's week four. That statement doesn't mean much.
that's not the point. The point is that the pac 12 has two of the best resumes in football. If the SEC had that, no way would we just be dismissing them just because

I agree with this. On the other side, I don't think it's as narrow as some Big Ten/PAC/Big 12 fans think either. It's somewhere in the middle of those two extremes.

Lol yeah the SEC is such a powerhouse right now. Auburn, Arkansas, South Carolina, Missouri

The SEC is no better than any other conference right now.

LSU had that schedule in 2013 (sans LSU itself, but Arkie instead) and won five.
LSU did it in 2011. Forget the rematch against Bama a second, and review the schedule again: LSU beat Oregon (Pac 12 champ), West Virginia (won the Orange Bowl, Big East champ?), Alabama (ranked 1 or 2, eventually won title in rematch), Arkansas (ranked #3 behind LSU and Bama in the last game of the regular season), and Georgia (ranked in top 10, 10 win team, SEC East champ).
And thoroughly destroyed the rest of the SEC teams they faced.

Nobody else in college football has done anything approaching that; going into the bowl game, LSU was having maybe the best college season ever. And they lost to a conference opponent in the rematch.

Honestly, there might not even be a gap this year. I'm not even sure we have a top 4 team.

Maybe if "some" of our teams didn't lose to Toledo and Texas Tech and almost lose to Jax State we wouldn't be catching all this Sec is down bullshite.

Don't forget Vandy. That's over 1/3 of our conference who you can't trust to beat anyone else from a P5 conference, and the top of the SEC isn't invincible either. The SEC is in bad shape this year.

Not one team in the SEC wins more than three games with that schedule

bullshite, LSU plays everyone of those teams but Georgia every year, and all of them every six years. Pretty sure we've had all of three sub-10 win seasons over the past 11 years (9-4 and 8-5 twice), and will win at least 10 again this year.

This year's OSU team would be an 8-9 win team (including bowl game) in the SEC West, and that's only because Arkansas and Auburn are down.

There is a difference between a good team that has to play 3 games a year they have any realistic chance of losing and a good team that has to play double that.

Utah plays Michigan, Oregon, Cal, Southern Cal, UCLA, Pac 12 championship.

Southern Cal plays Stanford, Notre Dame, Utah, Cal, Arizona, Oregon, UCLA, Pac 12 championship. It's the hardest schedule in the country.

Pac 12 schools also play 9 conference games, and teams like Southern Cal, UCLA, Utah, Stanford, etc. don't have any FCS teams on their schedule like SEC teams do. Playing a real team every week has to count for something, too.

If you're in the Pac 12 South, you're not exactly going through a cake walk. I think the SEC West is better than the Pac 12 South, but I don't think it's that much better. We'll have to wait and see how the rest of this season plays out, though, to see. Just like last year.

Contrast to the B1G having played 19.

17 if you subtract the 2 BYU games

Week 1 | 5 games | B1G 2-4
Michigan 17 @ Utah 24 | PAC team 4-0
TCU 23 @ Minnesota 17 | B12 team 4-0
Stanford 6 @ Northwestern 16 | PAC team 3-1
BYU 33 @ Nebraska 28 | IND 2-2
Wisconsin 17 vs Alabama 35 | SEC 3-1
Ohio State 42 @ Virginia Tech 24 | ACC 2-2

Week 2 | 4 games | B1G 3-1
Oregon State 7 @ Michigan 35 | PAC team 2-2
Washington State 37 @ Rutgers 34 | PAC team 2-1
Iowa 31 @ Iowa State 17 | B12 team 1-2
Oregon 28 @ Michigan State 31 | PAC team 2-2

Week 3 | 5 games | B1G 2-3
Illinois 14 @ North Carolina 48 | ACC team 3-1
Northwestern 19 @ Duke 10 | ACC team 3-1
Nebraska 33 @ Miami 36 | ACC team 3-0
Virginia Tech 51 @ Purdue 24 | ACC 2-2
Pittsburgh 24 @ Iowa 27 | ACC 2-1

Week 4 | 4 games | B1G 3-1
Kansas 14 @ Rutgers 27 | B12 team 0-3
BYU 0 @ Michigan 31 | IND 2-2
Indiana 31 @ Wake Forest 24 | ACC team 2-2
Maryland 6 @ West Virginia 45 | B12 team 3-0

Some points to ponder tho…
#1 Only 1 of 19 games was with an SEC school
#2 BYU is 2-2 and that accounts for 2 of 19 games
#3 ACC account for 7 of 19 games and none involve Florida State or Clemson
#4 B12 account for 4 of 19 games an that includes 1-2 Iowa State and 0-3 Kansas
#3 PAC account for 5 of 19 games and several are bad PAC schools

Hating on teams in the Pac 12 South is retarded, considering how tough some of those teams' schedules are.

The SEC East has one team that you could consider great, a couple decent teams, a couple mediocre teams, and a couple terrible teams.

The SEC West has Auburn and Arkansas who aren't very good. Who knows if State is any good? LSU and aTm really haven't done too much so far, either.

Someone tell me why we're supposed to believe the SEC is some super power again this year. They've done nothing to prove it.

And let me be clear, this is comparing the SEC to the Pac 12, mainly the SEC West to the Pac 12 South. Obviously the SEC is A LOT better than the Big Ten, top to bottom.
