Not one team in the SEC wins more than three games with that schedule. Two games if Toledo is on the schedule.
Also, drop the "our" shite. A&M has done nothing to contribute to the SEC's aura. Unless you are Alabama, LSU, or Florida, just shut up.
LSU went undefeated in 2011 with a much tougher schedule than that.

I guarantee you not one team from the PAC or Big 10 wins more than 9 games with that schedule and none make the playoff.
I noticed all those Duck fans from the last few years have all flown west for the football season.

LSU had that schedule in 2013 (sans LSU itself, but Arkie instead) and won five.

You're just prepping your defense now why A&M should still be ranked after you lose the next 3.
I am disappoint.

Did LSU play themselves?

LSU =/= Arkansas

It's highly unusual in this day and age to play two ranked OOC teams during the regular season.
Mostly because it's hard to get those games on the schedule in the first place.
Given Aggy's OOC scheduling the last several years, I would think this would be self explanatory.
What exactly is the point of bashing Ohio State because of the conference they play in? Are they supposed to join the SEC? Lobby to give Indiana the boot and bring in Notre Dame?
This thread just comes off as "Man it's not fair we have a tough conference schedule".
Mizzou and A&M made the transition with relative ease. Perhaps the SEC isn't quite the murderer's row we make it out to be. It is a great conference but it isn't that much vastly better than the B1G.

It's not about any of the individuals teams, it's the grind of whatever 8 you draw

OK, but even if we had somehow been able to play ourselves and lost (which would also mean we won, wouldn't it?), that still would have been four, which is more than the three you claim as the maximum any SEC team could win.

I know yall are new to this, but in the SEC we don't throw a hissy-fit because media tries to pump up other conferences. We sit there and let them do it, then go 6-0 against the big 10 in bowl season and make the media look like idiots.

LSU played Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Ole Miss, MSU, Florida, Tennessee and Kentucky in the SEC that year, plus Top-5 Oregon and Top-15 West Virginia outside of conference play (both away from home), then played Georgia in the SECCG (also away from home). We went 13-0 against that schedule, only losing in the NC when we had to play Alabama a second time (again, both away from home).

I'm a Beaver Believer and therefore have well calibrated expectations and no reason to go into hiding after yet another beatdown.
I wore a LSU Alumni shirt to work today and a Duck fan asked if I was rubbing it in. I took the high road and replied that we haven't beaten Bama since 2011 so I can't be too boastful. Still a lot of cardiac moments waiting around the corner.

Or not, as in 2014.

B1G is extremely top heavy. There's OSU, MSU, Wiscy (to a lesser extent), then a massive drop off. Pac 12 just sucks.

Not when tickets are allocated equally, it's easy travel distance for Alabama, and it's still a change in the normal home game routine. It was a legitimate neutral site for that game.
