I explictly said that I was hearing this as a rumor. The dumbass who posted the all caps, and then apparently can't even follow this simple discussion and has no clue what is even going on, stated what he said as fact, in all caps.
Here is a good reason to think that Beilema must have lied, though...if the AFCA really did support the rule change, you would think that SOMEBODY would have come out and said so publicly, or provided some official meeting minutes, or something. But there's nothing. Crickets.

The fact it was discussed came out, all the HUNH proponents said it wasn't, but it would be in their vested interest to lie and get the media to take their side in an effort to sway the committees decision making process.

Good point. And the anti-hurry up guys have a vested interest in telling the media that the AFCA really did vote to support the rule change, to get the media to take their side. Surely, then, some coaches have publicly said that the AFCA did vote in support of the rule changes, right? Which ones?

None of this even matters. Even if the rule is passed Arkansas will still have Bert as a coach and nothing can save them from that epic fail. The rule won't even effect very much anyways..I could care less if it passes.

I might disagree that BB will fail, but I the rules change all of the time. Folks need to get over it
