Given that the schedules would be somewhat different this year would look something like this... .
East
Florida 7-1 5-1
Bama 7-1 4-1
UGA 5-3 3-3
Tennessee 4-4 2-3
Kentucky 4-4 2-4
Auburn 4-4 1-4
USC 3-5 1-5
West
LSU 7-0 4-0
Ole Miss 7-1 4-1
TA&M 6-2 3-2
Miss St 6-2 2-2
Arky 4-4 2-2
Vandy 3-5 1-3
Missou 4-4 1-4
I could argue that there more parity in the flip-flopped divisions.
I would also add that they would make more geographical sense give Missou's jacked up placement in the east.

The top two ranked teams should make the SECCG.
Whatever the two best teams are should play.

In fact we don't even know for sure who will be good and who won't. Teams will totally surprise us.

What y'all fail to grasp is that the allure of the SEC is based on Bama-Auburn, Georgia-Florida, UT-Bama, LSU-Bama, Georgia-Auburn, LSU-Florida, etc.
The rest of it is just window dressing. Competitive balance doesn't matter. People watch (and therefore the league makes money) off of those games. Not because Arkansas vs. South Carolina or Ole Miss vs. Vandy or any of those other games.
Everybody's "fixes" to the scheduling problem in the SEC undermines what makes the SEC what it is. Either nut up and go to 9 conference games, or collect your participation check and STFU.

4 home and 5 road games every other year? No thanks.

How about no divisions and a constantly rotating schedule. Top two, which would be best two, play in sec championship. No repeat match ups in playoffs. Just sayin
So take this year for instance...Who would LSU play in the SEC championship game?

No need for all that. The main thing they got wrong was putting MO in the East and not moving Aub over..it was really that simple.
Let's be honest, the UT Bama game is not even as good a game as AU UF.

So only two of those games would go away (LSU vs Bama and LSU vs Florida), and likely one of the two would happen in the SECCG where there will be more interest.
And the other games would happen every 4 years anyway...
Any other objections?

Is there something wrong with trying to beat Florida twice?

How about 13 conference games in a round robin, no need for a Champ game, no cupcakes, SEC champ has a guaranteed playoff spot?
I reject any plan that kicks out Vanderbuilt.

This.
Pac 12 and Big XII already play 9 games.
B1G is moving to 9 game schedule next year and dropping all FCS opponents.
Let's move to 9 games and slam the door on expansion for another 20 years.

I think they should randomly shuffle the divisions up each year

My objection is this. Kentucky or Mizzou "getting to play everybody" is not a problem worth taking away those games. It's simply not.
You can complain all you want about fairness, but certain teams (and therefore games) are money makers and some are fillers.
I'm sure the SEC offices have done the cost-benefit analysis. They know why the league is worth what it's worth and it doesn't have anything to do with balancing out the league

Taking shots at Vanderbilt is really bad form

So for all of the "let's play 9 games" folks, please explain how you would deal with all the bitching and moaning that would happen when your team has 5 hard away games and your rival has 5 home games...
Let's be clear, home field advantage is HUGE in this league.

Yeah, most fans are really going to miss that extra home game against McNeese.
Anybody miss it this year?

The front office cares about protecting 3 rivalries.
Bama vs Tennessee
Auburn vs Georgia
Bama vs Auburn.
Are you telling me there would be less interest in Bama vs Florida than Florida vs Lsu?
That's an even trade IMHO.
