Spent the afternoon here

It's amazing how many sacrificed and suffered from so many nations in this war

If you haven't been to the National WW2 museum in New Orleans; you should make it a priority. It's amazing and will really make you emotional. It truly is a national treasure

I'd downvote you but... to be honest nothing is more American then what we eat. Think about the food we eat more often then not.

Italian, Mexican, English, Asian... Pizza is most certainly not what they make in Italy. Unless it is a restaurant that wants to not make sales.

The US takes everything from around the globe and turns it into... something anyone can eat. We are the great American Melting Pot when it comes to food.

And you know what? I'm having home made tacos tonight.

Please, we both know you'd waddle up to whatever all you can eat buffet there was if you could have his job and his wife.

You do yourself a disservice. Embrace your lack of meaning!

Or turns events in history from other countries that have nothing to do with us into drinking holidays.

St. Patrick's Day - St. Patrick was from England, captured as a slave, then taken to Ireland before escaping years later. He returned to Ireland and lived a poor life as a bishop until he died on March 17th.

Cinco de Mayo - A victory for Mexico over France at the battle of Puebla. It was not even a major strategic win, it just merely boosted morale (as all victories do). The French later defeated Mexico and installed their own Emperor. Napoleon only withdrew because he had several other potential global skirmishes. It's not even Mexican Independence day, that's 9/16.

Not complaining, I gladly get blasted all of these "holidays". America. frick yea.

I've been to the WW2 museum like 8 times. I go pretty much every other year. Last year we brought my 94 yr old grandfather who was part of the invasion on Normandy Beach(D-Day) and he got a little emotional and it got all of us really emotional.
Did they open up the new parts yet?

That museum takes and deserves a full, well rested day of attention.

I'm currently on day 9 of a 14 day exercise. Nasty as fuk.

Fantastic. My favorite piece of film ever. It should be required viewing for any voter.

And no it isn't on Netflix.
