And no it isn't on Netflix.

It IS on Amazon Prime, though. If any married guys don't know about Prime, it's only because your wife hasn't found out about it yet.

That series is the best thing HBO has ever done, in my opinion.

Read the book first, and the mini series is 5 stars, well done.

I'm trying to figure out how 2 assclowns could downvote this thread. BlackPawnMartyr was probably one of them.

I think the museum was closed every time I've tried to visit. Guess that's what we get for it being in New France.

I was just joking around. I honestly have tried to visit the museum several times and something always comes up. I think it was closed a couple of times. Everyone says it's great, so I'm sorry I've missed it.

I'm just trying to find something to do other than sleep. Seems that's all I do now. Wake up, work, eat, sleep. Repeat.

I'm glad it's on prime, but going to take the other posters advice and get the book first.

No, Band of Brothers is based on the Stephen Ambrose book, the Pacific miniseries is, if I'm not mistaken, based on a couple of books. It's worth watching, but not nearly as good.

I'll be in Fredericksburg on Friday. Haven't been to this museum but will definitely check it out.

To our Greatest Generation: Thank You.

The Nimitz part is small and simple. The back addition is awesome. Be sure to have at least a couple of hours.
