I'm not making excuses and neither is anyone else in the SEC, I'm just trying to give you a little reality.

The simple fact is that that Clemson could not play 4 weeks back to back with the LSUs, UGAs, Bamas, Auburns, and Floridas of the SEC and then play any of the lower tired teams, which are still solid as shite, and do the same as you do now against ACC competition. Youre recruiting would be tested much more than before because the main SEC talent is in Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Texas and if they are good enough to play SEC ball they're going to at prestigious team. Hell even the legend Spurrier struggles in SC with recruiting..surely you don't think Dabo can do better.

No, I said it's better than Clemson though. Wtf does that have to do with this conversation?

b/c I think you want to argue with me now because I told you Clemson is better college town and Athens is overrated.

this is a proxy argument for that argument.

Clemson recruits Florida and Georgia like crazy, and have gotten players out of Texas and Bama.

there is nothing prestigious about Florida or Texas now, Clemson could beat those two programs easily right now.

you obviously know nothing about Dabo's highly ranked recrutiginc classes. Players like Sammy Wakkins and CJ SPiller and Deshaun Watson have come to Clemson from Georgia and Florida to play at Clemson rather than 'prestigious' Alabama and Florida.

What was Bama doing prior to Saban? lol they were terrible. I think Alabama is actually a pretty hard place to recruit if you don't have a Saban.

No, I'm mature enough to have other conversations. Back to my question. What was your point you were trying to prove?

I think my point is clear, u playing dumb.

I got to roll out now.

I don't mind ya'll dumping on Clemson but when u single out Clemson as a win that doesn't mean anything, you definitely overrate your own program. lol

Vandy leads Auburn 21-20-1.

Auburn fan's arguement is invalid.

Nevermind, I see you're trying to say Clemson would do well in the SEC. With the way they pay players they might be able to keep up with Mississippi State, maybe even AM.

Because brainless. Clemson is a ranked team that we recently played OOC. I was not picking on them. They are a recent example of the type of games I don't think we benefit from playing. We don't play Wake Forest nor are they a high ranked team. Baylor isn't in the SEC so they need a tough schedule. For us the SEC schedule and a usually decent GT in state rival team is more than strong enough on a national scale.

If you weren't so butt hurt from the beat down you would see that the original comment was kind off a compliment. No need to play ranked tough teams OOC for UGA.

Reading comprehension lessons then post. Now I am really done. My points are clear. My signature will suffice as a response to the next dump of whining you spout out.

Clemson is 45-96-5 vs. the SEC. Worse than 1 out of 3. Keep in mind they get to play one of the worst programs in SEC history every year. That is staggeringly bad.

Ouch

nah you said beating Clemson would not help you in the rankings.

that is a pretty common dig at a school. lol you can spin urself out of that one.

ya'll don't finish no.9 in the polls last season without that win over Clemson, ,cuz u played in the Belk bowl against lousville, lost to a bad Florida team at neutral site, and lost to a bad SC team. lol

good night

I, for one, think Clemson should avoid playing SEC teams, and play big 12, big 10, pac 10 teams, due to the disrespect from Sec people. we willing to give you a quality OOC game and go to your place and don't even respect that. Auburn was literally crying because Michigan wouldn't go there to play and Michigan sucks now, and complaining about another 2 year series with Clemson (but only 3 recent regular season games against us). lol

Are you kidding me Vanderbilt? Yall have earned the right to talk shite to no one ever. Congrats on your winning streak from the 40s when everyone else was fighting wars and you were doing your calculus homework.

then u remove the seasons when football was basically an intramural sport and Clemson holds its own.

Clemson didn't become a university until 1965 and had been a small military school prior to that. To this day it is much smaller than most SEC schools, half the size as many of them.

Clemson has rarely played any SEC teams outside of SC in the modern era but have recent wins over UGA, LSU, Kentucky, Tenn, Auburn twice, etc.

You just want to play those conferences so you can get some wins

I think programs like tcu and Baylor and Oregon harder win than most SEC programs right now.

Saban carried SEC the past few years and it appears to be falling apart for him right now, lost like 4 or 5 of his recent biggest games against top teams.

some other SEC team going to have to step up soon and win a title if you want to be seen as best conference.

So does Clemson or FSU carry the ACC as a conference? I'm sure I know your answer, but please go ahead and humor us all.

no one program carries it, every program carries it, several differnetg pgorams have won the ACC title in recent years.

reality is Saban could be successful at any college, similar to Meyer. they don't need SEC to be successful. it is more about the coach than the conference

You always mention this school size thing like it matters. This isn't high school football. Student body size means almost nothing. If it did then Notre Dame and Alabama would historically be mediocre and Arizona State and UCF would dominate. Student body size means nothing. Sorry, but Clemson just has a shitty history.
