Fullback =/= Noseguard
Fullbacks do a lot more.

That was just hilarious.

you seriously think he is a great player?
In the SEC...
Out of receivers who caught 30+ passes, Emory finished 2nd in yards/rec behind Reuben Randle (17.3 vs 17.03).
He also finished tied for 9th in TD catches while only playing in 10 games. And finished 7th in yards/game with, as everyone else puts it, terrible QBs throwing him the ball.

AMM AU9893 could probably tell us more about him...
Finally in here
But yeah, Jay is the perfect fullback. He didn't get recruited very hard because he played middle LB his senior year and guard his junior year, and he was undersized at those positions when it comes to college scouts. Regardless, he was a beast at both even though he's a natural FB. He's a weight room monster, he was in my PE class my sophomore year, and when we would max everyone would stop and watch him the whole time, it was incredible.
Best of all, he's an extremely hard worker, an intelligent player, and a kid who isn't going to get in trouble. Very nice, he's a big teddy bear off the field. I'm glad we got him and he gets to spend more time with his mom, who is also a very nice person. He'll succeed and serve as a great FB for the next two years, I'm pumped

Like a 3-4 NG, it depends on the offense the FB is in. Systems like Georgia don't use their FBs beyond blocking, and an occasional carry. USC used to use their FBs in a myriad of situations. Either way, neither can be undervalued. A 3-4 without a productive NG isn't going to perform. Just like a I-formation set isn't going to be as productive without a solid blocking FB.

Is this true he is going to count toward this class's 25 limit? If so and he has to sit out his for his transfer year, that is complete bullshite.
According to BMathews it is true (can't get the link right now)

Yeah, he'll count towards the 25. But don't worry about the waiver, he'll get it and be eligible this season

Good. Its still crap he counts towards the 25 and not just the 85.
Posted on 1/18/12 at 6:25 pm to GoCrazyAuburn
Yeah I don't really understand that either

I believe Blakely also counted toward the 25. It is also the reason Corey Grant had to walk on. In some ways it does not seem fair, but you have to look at it as a JUCO. Be will not count in the rankings.

Now you get it.

i understand it in the case of Blakeley considering he was still just coming out of High School, but not when a kid has already played NCAA football. Count to the 85 and sit out a transfer year unless you get the waiver. 25 is just shite.

I think so. He wasn't really outgoing with his fandom though, so I could be wrong
