Not really in this convo, but....are you serious, or are you purposely twisting the meaning? he said Hitleresque brainwashing. I think he meant brainwashing the way Hitler did. you know...taking otherwise sane people and having them follow a nutcase blindly? He said nothing about anyone being brainwashed into being gay...but I am guessing you knew that and you are twisting his words and his meaning to make him look silly. Instead, you are the one looking as though you cannot follow a simple conversation or thought process.
Oh. And everyone has a limit to tolerance. Yes. you have limits, too. It's a matter of what you are willing to tolerate and what you are not willing to tolerate. For instance...you don't appear to be very tolerant of his opinion.

Repeat after me: "Tolerance of differing opinions doesn't mean you can't think another person is a total bigot and treat said person as such." I mean, this isn't even a difficult logical leap. If a person holds a detestable opinion, you don't have to think highly of the person while tolerating their right to hold that opinion. A hypothetical person perfectly welcome to think all gays are evil and will go to hell. Said hypothetical person is not going to escape the consequences of said opinion, however, any more than you are letting people who think gays are fine escape the consequences of their opinion.

Most of the "in your face" gay people do not respect my values and culture, why is expected that I accept theirs? Why can't we agree to disagree? There is no tolerance on their side for disagreement.
