A lot of people like myself still believe in family values and Christianity. It is sinful to be gay. That is not an opinion. It is a belief. I do not want my two young children watching the quare on tv. I am a firm believer in corporal punishment(schools and judicial system).I believe in prayer in schools.frick what everyone else thinks. Everyone worries so much about saying the wrong things so much till they are ashamed to say what they really believe.

Personally I'm sick of it being stuck out there as being acceptable. Go do it if it blows your dress up but stop sticking out there for our kids to see, it goes against Christin ethics and most have forgotten what our great nation was founded on. This country has become Just like Sodom and Gomorrah, you know what god did there!

There are many intolerant people in the world who say, "You MUST believe as I do or you're a bigot, a racist, a homophobe, just plain ignorant". Childish tactics from intolerant people. These are the same people, and their offspring, who DEMANDED people be tolerant of their out of the mainstream ways in the 60's & 70's. They never hated the 'good ol boy network', as they claimed, they just wanted to be in charge of it and force it on people with an iron fist. They are the most intolerant people in U.S. history. They ARE what they ACCUSE others of being.

I havent seen the infamous kiss even once. You know how? I have a content filter in my head. I choose what to take in and watch. I don't let it choose me. I have the power, not the media or big corporations.

I agree with you.

I've essentially quit watching ESPN because they'll take one topic (Michael Sam, Donald Sterling, Tim Tebow) and beat you over the fricking head with it until your ready to gouge your own eyes out. It's the same with the build up to the Super Bowl. I ignore the noise until the Thursday or Friday before.

It's much easier to digest in small quantities.

These are the same people who blame the tv/radio over what's aired instead of changing the channel. Didn't know it was the media's responsibility to parent your kids!

I watched my last NFL reg. season game in 2009.

Last playoff game in 2011.

Last Superbowl this year, although I was at the party for the booze, food, and company and didn't watch the game at all.

I don't subscribe to any TV provider. I refuse to watch pro sports, especially any league that wears pink shoes and promotes homosexuality. Maybe next year they'll add gay awareness month and wear rainbow jerseys, shoes, helmets, and sweatbands. Maybe Richard Simmons will be Fox;s new NFL color analyst.

Can't wait for that.

It seems to me that the infusion of big money and political correctness (a Marxist invention that I completely reject) into sports is ruining the purity of the competition.

Even now, with the SEC network, I may never watch another SEC game unless at a bar. That's sad, but if the SEC wants to become the NFL then frick em.

I know you laugh...however, the Bible, which defines sin, says that homosexuality is a sin. You don't have to agree with it, but the book that defines sin says that is what it is.

That cannot be argued. If you disagree, then you must take issue with the countless numbers of men and/or women that leave their spouses because they "suddenly realize" that they are gay.

You mean, like the ones that want "under God" removed from the Pledge of Allegiance, instead of just skipping over it if they disagree?

Come on, southernboisb....this stuff happens on TV before you can react. Who would have thought they would have to contend with a homosexual kiss on Sportscenter during the NFL draft? It happened before anybody could have kept their kids from seeing it. You might have a point if we were all watching a show with a warning attached to it at the beginning or something. Oh...and before you say it....live TV normally has a 3 second delay, so stuff like that can be filtered out....same for radio.

ESPN will, once again, be unwatchable leading up to the season. Clowney and JFF will take a back seat to the Michael Sam media circus.

I do think both the fans and the networks are finding a new threshold for viewers, some will continue as viewers, others will find other interests

I'm amazed people watch ESPN for anything but the actual games.

I haven't done that for years now.
