For us, I would say we are on the right track in the building process and this was a successful step in the right direction. Ecstatic? Be hard to say that. Encouraged? Yeah, I think so.

So if you auburn fans would be pissed off with 8 wins next year, what did you guys feel in 2011 or 2012?

Expected an 8 winnish season in 2011. I have blocked 2012 from my memory...it does not exist.

When LSU goes 7-6, this is going to be hilarious.

I'd feel crushed game by game as the season went on, but life goes on.

The manner in which a loss happens changes a lot of how that record would feel.

I need a little more information to truly judge. Where those 8 wins good enough to keep our recruiting momentum, and did Texas do worse so they can't flip any of our commits?

If so then I am ecstatic.

Surprised/disappointed/frustrated.

Beyond that, it would depend on the circumstances.

Did we have a lot of critical injuries? Did we lose close games or get blown out? Did we lose to teams that were much better than expected?

And frankly, did we beat Alabama? Season would still suck but that would take some of the sting away.

Depends on a lot of things, how did they look when losing? Were they competitive?

I would go absolutely nuts. It could well involve naked burning and looting.

Kind of sucks when your whole season's success is based on whether you beat one team.
But I can relate, felt the same way when we were in the SWC and Texas was our 'make or break' game.
