I'd be pleased with that.
It's pretty close to my 2014 expectation--one more win than I think we'll have, actually.

So if you auburn fans would be pissed off with 8 wins next year, what did you guys feel in 2011 or 2012?

interesting response from you.

I'd like to see at least ten, somehow, maybe with a bowl win.

2011 was a little upset, but not shocked because we weren't suppose to be all that good. I thought we would win 9 that year if QB play panned out. Obviously QB play did not pan out. 2012, was just a shite show.

I feel as if we have the talent to win 10 games. A double-digit win season would do wonders for our program; it could have a "shed the monkey off our back" effect.

OP is subtlety flaming Ole Miss in this thread. Not subtle enough though. Idiot.

That's true. Your thread, however, is.

We're obviously going to win some games we won't be favored in.

I'd feel much more safe about reaching ten wins if we don't have a WAOM moment against the three non-big three SEC West teams we play (@A&M, @Arkansas, Mississippi State).

If we can go 2-2 in this stretch, or better, we should have a good shot at 9-10 wins.

The 2011 Auburn team was replacing 31 total players, and only returned a few starters (very small number). A disappointing season was expected, but we were pissed off at how we lost to LSU, Alabama, Georgia, etc... We were mauled in every sense of the word, but we more so blamed it on being young at a lot of positions.

The 2012 Auburn team made us numb. We returned a ton of starters, but had coaching staff turnover and Gene Chizik made some terrible hires. There was major conflict among players, coaches, parents, and so forth. The team quit halfway through the season and the rest was history. We knew there was talent, but the last coaching staff was incapable of coaching that talent up.

The 2014 Auburn team is different. We have an incredible coaching staff, tons of starters back, and a team full of future NFL potential. This team is very talents and has superior coaching. We are coming off an SEC Championship win and a National Championship appearance and expectations are at an all-time high.

As long as my team beat LSU I wouldn't mind it.

These next few years could be the most balanced SEC in the history of the SEC.
