Penn St. and OU definitely have great Met programs. State's is very good though. OU is the dream but the OOS tuition is steep.
Now a job at the SPC in Norman would be amazing, but it is obviously ultra competitive.

My son isn't stupid enough to choose between these two schools.

State.... The odds of him being hung from a tree or having crosses burned in front of his apartment are significantly lower... If he chose Ole Miss then he's practically begging for it...

MSU. Not as fat poor racist or stupid, and marginally better at athletics.
They draw from the same population. The fat poor racist stupid sorts in the region rarely go to a four year college, so that's a non-issue

Would completely depend on what they wanted to major in both schools have programs they are better than the other at.

If I was from Mississippi and I wanted a good state assisted public education
I would be fricked
See why Mississippi is the worst state in the union
Even below West Virginia and Alabama

I'd advise them to go to community college for a year or two until they can get into a proper university

Ole Miss. It's closer to Memphis BBQ.

Ole Miss . They will be on probation soon , so if he was good then he could transfer to a better school when Ole Miss gets its bowl ban or if he is not very good he would be able to play more when they get probation and no good players want to go there. Plus I could get a new house
