If your kid was choosing between Ole Miss and MSU, which would be better?

I hope no parent ever has this dilemma, but sadly, a lot of Mississippians face this every year.

If I'm a parent in this situation, I would hope my kid picks MSU. I know he/she would wind up with a cowbell attached to his/her hip and would develop a weird twang with a shitty education, but at least they wouldn't be a racist cheater with a shitty education.

Man, good thing I don't live in Mississippi. Sounds like an awful scenario, and it's not like a regular Mississippian can afford to send their kid out of state.

I went to MSU and it was fine. Honestly, as I grow up and view the expenditure of college education, unless my child is really cut out for an elite school, if the time comes for college, I will be pushing JUCO or CC for the first year for the basic classes and then transfer to a school for the speciality he will be studying.

Between the two, I would choose State because the people are more down to Earth and have a much lower threshold of elite douchebags.

MSU. Not as fat poor racist or stupid, and marginally better at athletics.

it depends on what they want to do:

Mississippi state is pretty good for Engineering, Agriculture, and Business.

Ole miss has a good Law school and Medical school.

Both are good universities IMO, but not exceedingly hard to get into.

It's not for non-cheaters, so yes, I'll stay out.

Honestly, there is not one ounce of difference in kids that graduate at any other school in this conference, with the exception of Vanderbilt. It all depends on how advanced the degree is, and the motivation to learn.
